The team last won at this ground in the year 1971. Virat Sena has also celebrated this historic victory in a grand manner. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared the video of the team on social media, in which all the players are seen celebrating.
BCCI shared the video on its official Twitter account on Tuesday and captioned it as, “Unseen views and reactions from the dressing room after Team India’s spectacular win at the Oval Cricket Ground.”

Fast bowler Umesh Yadav, who took 6 wickets in the fourth Test, said in the video, “We knew the wicket was flat, so we had to work hard on the 5th day. We tried to bowl good lengths and tried to prevent runs. Because we knew we would get wickets.
Fast bowler Shardul Thakur impressed everyone with his performance in the Oval Test. He made a tremendous contribution with both bat and ball coming at a critical time. And he played a key role in the team’s big win.
Shardul scored 117 runs in this test and took 3 important wickets. The 29-year-old all-rounder, popularly known as Lord Thakur, said on India’s stupendous victory. “It was great the day I got to know that I am playing.
I had thought that I will give my best performance in this match and prove myself.” Now the fifth and final Test match of the series between India and England will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester from 10 September.
