At 22 years, Junior has shown that he is indeed the man for the big occasions with his electrifying display especially in the previous 2 seasons.
UCL goals
In November 2019, he struck a goal against Club Brugge during the group stage.
This was followed up by goals in 2021 vs Liverpool in the UCL Quarter-finals.
Goals in the 2022 season knockouts (semi-finals and finals) vs Man City and Liverpool saw him raise his level of imperiousness.
But last night, the entire set was complete as Junior found the net in the Round of 16 stage of the competition.
The brace last night got his tally to 18 goals and 8 assists across competitions in the season as well.
