Hamzah Idris holds the record for most goals in a Saudi league season (33) for Al Ittihad in the 1999-00 season.

Ronaldo has another 12 league matches to surpass that record. Given the start he has had, the Portuguese goal-scorer will be eyeing that crown as well.

If Ronaldo can surpass that tally, he could be the favourite for the Golden Boot once again.

One can never doubt Ronaldo’s desire and dedication to be the best version of himself; hence this is a record the Al Nassr striker will eye.

Cristiano needs another 25 to equal the tally in the next 12 matches to do so. This will be a challenge but not out of sight for the world’s highest scorer.
