The English team continues with its preparation for the Premier against a rival who will demand a lot.

Wolverhampton continue their preparation for the new season. The ‘Wolves’ team does not have a simple rival for this friendly.

After Betis is measured, the English team is measured against a UD Las Palmas that will tighten the nuts. Sevilla knows it well, that, in their last friendly, they suffered more than necessary to be able to bend, by the minimum, a team that seeks to return to the highest category and will do everything necessary to return to First Division.

After the first friendly against Crewe Alexandre. And a win over Real Betis on Saturday evening. Wolves’ pre-season continues on Tuesday Morning with a game against Las Palmas (27th July, 12:30 AM IST).

Before fixtures with Stoke City (31st July, 7:30pm), Coventry City (1st August, 5:30 PM) and Celta Vigo (7th August, 05:30 PM).

Supporters who bought all six matches as a bundle exclusively through WolvesTV will be able to access all upcoming games by logging into their Wolves account.

Wolves will become the first Premier League side to utilise the social media giant’s new Paid Online Events feature, making games available to a much wider audience and catering for Wolves’ global fanbase to follow the games live. With the option for live chat between supporters during the games.

Wolves head of digital, Richard Pepper, said: “We are really excited to be able to offer our supporters the opportunity to watch Wolves’ pre-season via Facebook, which is currently our most popular social media channel, with over two million fans.

“Facebook has 2.6 billion monthly active users worldwide, and, as of January 2021, is the leading social network in 154 countries around the world.

“Whilst many supporters will have tuned into WolvesTV over the years, we feel that teaming up with Facebook to broadcast our pre-season fixtures will cater for an even broader spectrum of our supporters across the globe.”

Head To Head

Tuesday’s meeting will be the first time that these two sides have locked horns in any competition.

Las Palmas have only ever faced English opposition on one previous occasion, taking on Ipswich Town in the second round of the 1977-78 UEFA Cup. With the Blues recording a 4-3 aggregate win.

Wolves, meanwhile, have previously taken on Espanyol, Barcelona and Sevilla in terms of Spanish opposition. After picking up just one victory across those five matches, losing four times in the process.
