WTC Final Ind vs NZ: 5 attacking option that Team India may use against NZ in Final

WTC Final Ind vs NZ: 5 attacking option that Team India may use against NZ in Final.

WTC Final Ind vs NZ: Only a few days are left for the ICC World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand. Team India’s captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri are currently in a dilemma as to what will be the playing XI of the final.

Team India’s batting order is almost fixed, but the picture is not clear about who will play among the bowlers. Will Team India enter the field with three fast bowlers and two spinners or will there be some other strategy. There is a possibility that the Indian team can enter the field with five bowlers. It can include three fast bowlers and two spinners.

It is believed that Team India can take the field against New Zealand with three fast bowlers and two spinners.

However, it is not yet clear how the pitch will behave and what will be its condition. The World Cup of the Final Test starting from June 18 is also being called, so Team India will enter the field with its strongest team, that much is for sure.

Spin Combo of Jadeja & Ashwin

As far as the two spinners are concerned, the playing of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI is almost certain. If the spinners get a little help from the third and fourth day of the match, then these two together will not delay much in tying the New Zealand team. At the same time, both of them can show their flair in batting if needed.

Now let’s talk about fast bowling. In this, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are almost certain to be a part of the playing XI. For the third pacer, there can be a tremendous fight between Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur. The pitch has a lot for both the fast bowlers and the spinners.

Pace Attack from Bumrah to Shami

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are the first choices. But the question remains for the third slot with Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur. Ishant Sharma bowls strongly in Australia with his height and bounce.

But in England, Virat Kohli can opt for a little more variety and bring in Mohammad Siraj to the team. This Hyderabad fast bowler has performed amazingly in the last few months. Along with the match-winning bowling in Australia, he had also made the condition of the England batsmen on lifeless Indian pitches.

Shardul Thakur’s name is going on for the third fast bowler, but there is little chance that he will be a part of the playing XI. However, nothing can be said for sure as of now. Captain Virat Kohli will play his cards at the last minute. It has to be seen what will be the playing XI of Team India.
