WWE announces last episode of the year 2021 of SmackDown will take place on ‘New Year Eve’

WWE News: WWE announced last night that a new edition of Friday Night SmackDown will take place live on December 31.

This show will take place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, the same last afternoon of the year 2021. WWE took advantage of the celebration of the Supershow last night in Charlotte to spread the news.

WWE recently announced that it will hold a PPV event on January 1, 2022 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

It will air live the night of January 1, 2022 at 8 pm ET exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network internationally.

So far it has confirmed that all current RAW and SmackDown champions will participate along with the presence of other superstars such as Drew McIntyre, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, Riddle, Sasha Banks, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss and many more.

The presence of SmackDown superstars in the PPV suggests that they will not rest in the new year. And it will have to travel during the festivities with the WWE expedition.

However, there is not an excessively long route between one city and another. Since they are separated by between 3 and 4 hours of road travel.
