WWE Best Rivalry: The Rock – Stone Cold, John Cena – Randy Orton, Undertaker – Shawn Michaels: The WWE universe has always sparked fan interest into the Entertainment sport by cultivating rivalries between the superstars at the WWE roster.

Some of the hot rivalries have been between legendary WWE superstars like The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar & Bill Goldberg and many more.

Here are the Top 3 Rivalries between the WWE Superstars

The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin

The Rock & Steve Austin have undoubtedly been WWE’s greatest performers and were the best fit to have a rivalry between them. The Rock & Steve Austin have been highly competitive WWE athletes in the ring and best friends outside the ring.

Back at the Wrestlemania 19th, 2003 where Steve Austin played his final match at the WWE universe and against the Rock, a day earlier Steve got a near-heart attack due to severe dehydration. This lead to Steve quitting WWE even though when he was only 38 years old.

The Wrestlemania 19th match between both the superstars was a legendary one which ended up with the Rock standing tall. After Steve’s career ended at the WWE, The Rock went on to becoming the WWE Champion again in 2004.

The Rock also mentioned that after his match ended against Steve, The Rock told Steve that he loved him and thanked him for everything he’s done at the WWE in the ring itself.

John Cena & Randy Orton

John Cena and Randy Orton have had the longest rivalry at the WWE which started in 2002 and went on till 2013. John Cena and Randy Orton have been great WWE performers and also the ones with a prolonged rivalry.

John Cena, in 2007 teamed up with Shawn Michaels and snatched Edge’s & Randy Orton’s Tag Team titles after which John Cena fought Orton at the Unforgiven 2007 where Randy Orton won the match via disqualification.

Cena was then seen at the Royal Rumble 2008 after which he challenged Orton for the WWE Title. Later on, the match turned into a triple threat brawl with an addition of The Game Triple H. Orton retained his title at the Triple threat match seizing Cena’s perfect opportunity for the WWE title.

The 2 went on to competing against each other year after year till 2013 when both the superstars fought each other at TLC where Randy Orton would defend his WWE Championship and John Cena would defend his World Heavyweight Championship and the winner would take both.

Randy Orton came out to be the winner of that match as well adding a new turn to the rivalry which never closed fully. Randy Orton & John Cena have displayed one of the most vicious rivalries at the WWE Universe.

The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels

The Dead Man & HBK’s rivalry was a very exciting one and ended up with Shawn Michaels leaving the WWE. The Dead Man Undertaker fought Shawn Michaels for 2 times at WWE Wrestlemania for consecutive years winning both the matches.

The later one at the Wrestlemania 26th was a “Streak V/S Career” match where if Shawn Michaels would have won then The Undertaker’s undefeated streak would have ended and if The Undertaker was to win, then Shawn Michaels would have to leave the WWE Universe.

The match was a complete brawl between both the Superstars where Shawn Michaels, who wasn’t under The Undertaker’s weight class gave him an surprisingly tough fight. Shawn dominated the Undertaker with both his high flying and non high flying moves throughout the match.

Shawn even kicked out to 2 tombstone Pile drivers, 1 Last Ride and 1 Choke slam by the Undertaker. The Undertaker still managed to win at the end and adding another win to his undefeated Wrestlemania streak making the score 18-0 thereby leading Shawn Michaels to quit.
