WWE Hall of Fame 2022 LIVE Updates: Hall of Famer ceremony, names, Superstars, Live Streaming; All You Need To Know

We do not meet in the season of WrestleMania 38. As usual, WWE will hold its Hall of Fame ceremony in which it will present the nominees of the 2022 class.

The featured name tonight will be The Undertaker, who will receive this recognition to few months after confirming his retirement from the ring.

In this note you will be able to follow live the different inductions and speeches, in addition to any type of novelty that is presented in the live broadcast.

We start with the short fifteen minute Kickoff Show. Kayla Braxton and Corey Graves are confirmed as the presenters of the ceremony.

Later, we remember the names nominated for the WWE Hall of Fame and the Warrior Award.

Montez Ford and Bianca Belair are the first couple to walk the red carpet.

Later, we move on to a compact with the history of the Hall of Fame and its most prominent representatives.

After this video, Kane is interviewed backstage before fully starting the ceremony.

Kayla Braxton and Corey Graves take position in the center of the American Airlines Center.

Remember that tonight we will have five nominations that will make up the class of 2022.

The Steiner Brothers

A compilation presents Rick and Scott’s career in multiple companies around the world. Bron Breakker comes out on stage to do the honors.

The NXT 2.0 fighter clarifies that it is crazy to belong to the Steiner family, but at the same time he feels blessed to have such a caring father and uncle.

He ends by joking that he will take the biggest risk of his career by giving his Uncle Scott a microphone.

The Steiner Brothers make an appearance. Scott Steiner is grateful to all the teams they have faced in his career.

As they have all helped improve them in one way or another. The legend remembers Randy Savage and his days accompanying him on the road.

He invites all the competitors to have fun, as time can go by too quickly for them.

After recognizing his children as his greatest legacy, Scott hands over the microphone to Rick Steiner who jokes about his brother’s extensive speech.

Rick thanks Scott for everything they’ve shared together, and clarifies that it’s thanks to him that they were able to cement his story as a team.

The Steiners’ music plays and together they celebrate their induction into the Hall of Fame.

Queen sharmell

We review Sharmell’s career as a beauty queen. We also see her passing through WCW as Nitro Girl and her work accompanying Booker T.

Precisely, it is “King Booker” who is in charge of presenting the nominee.

The two-time Hall of Famer reveres his wife as a partner in the ring and remembers her wedding day.

He clarifies that Sharmell was an important part of her favorite years in WWE and introduces her as “My queen and my love”.

Queen Sharmell makes her entrance to the applause of the public.

After the chants of “You Deserve It”, she clarifies that she is living a fairy tale by seeing a king introducing the queen to her.

Thanks the Nitro Girls who accompanied her throughout her run, specifically mentioning Molly Holly, Madusa, and Victoria.

She also remembers Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle as great rivals with whom she shared the screen.

She thanks the audience and her “King Booker” before drawing several boos by mentioning Johnny Ace and Bruce Prichard.

Ends her speech by confessing that after twenty years she is more attracted than ever to Booker T, and she points to him as the great proof that fairy tales do come true.

Warrior Award: Shad Gaspard

Narrated by Mark Kriegel, we take a look back at Shad Gaspard’s career as one half of Cryme Tyme.

We watched several videos of Shad with his son, both at the gym and on the beach.

We also remember the tragic accident in which he lost his life, when she decided to sacrifice herself to save his son who was drowning in the ocean.

Dana Warrior comes on stage and clarifies that it is impossible not to be moved by Shad’s story.

Dana recognizes him as “the definition of a true hero and warrior” and praises his and his wife’s work in creating a warm and healthy family environment for his offspring.

“Shad did what he did, because for a father there is no other option,” says The Ultimate Warrior’s widow.

On behalf of Shad, his wife Siliana Gaspard and his son Aryeh Gaspard receive the award, both accompanied to the ring by JTG, Shad’s partner in Cryme Tyme.

Siliana clarifies that her husband was very careful about everything he had to do with the family.

He comments on how he met Gaspard after seeing him stop a criminal in a hotel parking lot, and mentions that Shad always used his aggressive side to help others, He addresses a few words to his son.

Who tells him that he has a father “kick butt”. She thanks the audience and the two pose for a photo with Dana Warrior.

Big Van Vader

In a short video, we review Vader’s colossal career around the world. The induction of the giant remains in the hands of his widow Grace Connelly and his son Jesse White.

The public receives both with an “IT’S VADER TIME”. Grace thanks the public for their support of her husband.

Jesse recalls Vader’s difficult experiences he must have witnessed as a young man, and makes it clear that he couldn’t ask for a better father and mentor whom he respects to this day.

The short speech ends with a close-up of the armor Vader wore prior to their fights.

The Undertaker

After an extensive video reviewing the three decades of “The Deadman” in WWE, Vince McMahon comes out on stage and positions himself around various suits used by The Undertaker.

“The Chairman” recognizes the Hall of Fame as his favorite WWE night as it is the great moment of recognition for the people who built the company.

He clarifies that no one has deserved this recognition more than the person honored tonight, and recites one after one the multiple opponents that Undertaker has had in his career.

Vince clarifies that Mark Calaway has been upright, loyal, respectful and athletic, more than enough qualities to receive an honor of this magnitude. This is how Mr. McMahon introduces The Undertaker, who makes his characteristic entrance to the scene. Mark Calaway hugs Vince McMahon and looks at his old clothes before getting into position for his speech. The audience gives him the loudest reaction all night, bringing tears to his eyes for multiple minutes.

“For the last thirty years, my identity has been The Undertaker. Tonight, I want to open the curtain and let you meet the man behind it: Mark Calaway.”

The legend leaves the stage and clarifies that tonight he wishes to respond to all the respect that has been given to him.

He confesses that his character has been difficult to play, to the point of having to sacrifice his privacy and family on multiple occasions.

That is why his first thanks is to the fans who have accompanied him for thirty years.

“In 1986 I was sitting on the floor. I felt sad and conflicted because I had missed the semester of my college. I didn’t know what to do, and I had doubts about my future.

The decision seemed impossible, and it seemed that I would dedicate myself to basketball for the rest of my life.

But my heart was on something different. My first training was poor, but I was determined and at the same time afraid of what others would say.

My brother Dave took my shoulder and told me that I shouldn’t live my life for anyone more than for me. That’s how I decided to become a professional wrestler.”

Mark recalls that his beginnings were anything but glamorous, spending multiple weeks inside a car and going hungry. “I wanted to find my identity and face my own dreams and motivations.

My dream was to become The Undertaker.” He clarifies that tonight he reveals that his worst complaint came from Vince McMahon.

Who at the beginning of his WWE career complained about the matches he provided, and his response caused hatred inside and outside the ring.

He clarified that this experience taught him that actions are important at any time and place.

He describes Stephanie McMahon as “the little sister he never had,” and thanks her for the loving family she had. He also mentions Shane McMahon for the care he took with him.

He points to The Godfather as an influence on his life, but jokingly notes that it hasn’t been a positive one. He clarifies that he has unmentionable histories.

The Bone Street Krew, the group of friends he made with the likes of Yokozuna, Rikishi, and “Crush” Brian Adams.

He remembers the death of “Crush” as one of the most difficult moments of his life, and appreciates the great memories by his side.

He also remembers Paul Bearer as a great joker and an important part of The Undertaker. He continues with Kane:

“Our story as Brothers of Destruction is one of the greatest ever told, and it’s an honor to have done it with such a genuine man.”

He turns the page and mentions that one of his biggest moves in his career has been the respect and loyalty that he has always tried to maintain for his third parties.

He remembers names like Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Bruno Sammartino and Ric Flair and recognizes them as big influences on him.

He thanks Bruce Prichard for the first meeting of his that cemented his character.

He credits Terry Anderson as the woman who created The Undertaker’s iconic clothing throughout his 30-year career.

He talks about Shawn Michaels and mentions an experience leading up to WrestleMania 25.

“Shawn, I thank you for your friendship and for giving me one of the biggest matches of my career.”

He also points to Triple H and acknowledges that together they have had an undeniable chemistry “thank you for reminding me who I was when my confidence was down.

Your words lifted me up in the last years of my career.”

He mentions his children, expressing his pride in them and how blessed he feels to have them in his life. He also talks about his parents who he points to as his biggest fans.

Precisely, he remembers the day his mother tried to save him while she received a padlock around Sid Vicious’s neck. “That’s how my mom got kicked out of wrestling.”

He addresses Michelle McCool, whom he defines as the greatest companion and pillar of his life.

Mark remembers Vince McMahon as a father figure, especially after his father passed away.

“We started out as a boss and an employee, and tonight I’m leaving here as a friend. Thank you for giving me The Undertaker, but most of all thank you for your friendship.”

Finally, he once again thanks WWE fans for their loyalty and asks them to be authentic and respectful from here on out.

“Thank you for joining me on this journey for the last 30 years.

You can ensure that The Undertaker is in the Hall of Fame … resting in peace.”
