WWE Hall of Fame 2022: WWE likely to host Hall of Fame 2022 on 1st April 2022 after Smackdown Episode

WWE Hall of Fame 2022: WrestleMania weekend is always special. The city that hosts each edition usually receives a large number of visitors. WWE usually prepares many events the days before the PPV.

After a couple of slightly decaffeinated editions in this sense due to the pandemic. It seems that this year the company wants to recover part of the magic that has always surrounded its great event.

WWE plans to hold several events during the week of WrestleMania 38 in the Dallas, Texas area. The company will hold the pre-WrestleMania episode of Smackdown, the fallout edition of RAW, the Hall of Fame ceremony and the NXT Stand & Deliver special over the course of the week, in addition to both nights of WrestleMania 38.

According to the latest information, WWE was considering airing the Hall of Fame ceremony on Peacock and WWE Network on Friday, April 1, right after the broadcast of SmackDown on FOX. However, it was unclear whether the ceremony would be recorded or broadcast live.

WWE Hall Of Fame 2022 Details:

In the last few hours, PW Insider  has revealed that the current plan is for the ceremony to be broadcast live between 10:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. local time on April 1 at the American Airlines Center.

The ceremony will not be a separate ticketed event. But fans attending SmackDown that night at the same location will be able to stay for the ceremony as well.

The time slot in which the gala would be broadcast is quite significant, since, if the company finally continues with this plan. This year’s edition would compete with AEW Rampage. Which is broadcast on TNT every Friday at 10:00 p.m.

Last year’s gala was quite atypical. Since two editions were held on the same night, that of 2021 and that of the previous year. Since the latter was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, both editions were recorded at WWE’s ThunderDome, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Among those inducted into the Hall of Fame at that double gala were Kane, Rob Van Dam, The Bella Twins, The Great Khali, Eric Bischoff or the members of nWo. WWE has not yet announced any names for this year.
