WWE Hell in a Cell 2021: Roman Reigns does not have a clear rivalry for the WWE universal belt less than a fortnight to Hell in a Cell.
The current universal champion of the company follows his family history with Jimmy and Jey Uso. Which has had a small script twist with the return of Jimmy, however, he does not forget his status as the maximum champion of SmackDown.
Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio?
Roman seems to have ended his rivalries with Edge, Daniel Bryan and Cesaro. And now faces the start of the summer without a clear opponent for the next pay-per-view.

According to Dave Meltzer, Roman Reigns will defend the WWE universal belt against Rey Mysterio in the next PPV thus following the story started by his cousins a few weeks ago.

Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Reigns defending against Mysterio is the direction for the next WWE pay-per-view event. Which will take place on June 20. This follows an angle on Friday’s SmackDown where Reigns attacked Mysterio and his son, Dominik, preventing the Usos from losing a second game against the father-son team. “

Since Jimmy’s return the situation within the Samoan family has heated up. Jimmy does not finish recognizing Roman as the leader of the family. And he is trying to get his brother to abandon his cousin to focus on winning the SmackDown tag team belts that are currently held by Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
Jimmy’s attempts to get Jey to leave his cousin have not sat well with Roman who has been very critical of Jimmy’s decisions.
Rey Mysterio has never been a contender for the WWE universal title on televised shows and the last time he opted for a world title in WWE was Survivor Series 2019.
