WWE News: Asuka has been away from the ring since July of last year, contesting her last match in the women’s ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank 2021. Since then, we have not seen her again on WWE programming. The fighter was absent to recover from a shoulder injury.
For a few months her imminent return has been rumored. which became even more apparent in January on the occasion of the last edition of Royal Rumble, although, as we could already see, the Japanese finally did not make her expected appearance.
 In this sense, this week, PWInsider reported that Asuka is ready to return after recovering from shoulder surgery and that she will return as soon as WWE has plans for her.

Dave Meltzer also confirmed that Asuka has been medically cleared to return to the ring.
However, it seems that things are not like that. Or at least that’s what the fighter herself tells us, who recently reacted to a tweet about her medical clearance.
She asked, “am I medically cleared?” and then she wrote: “Let me know the percentage of news rumors that are correct.” She also noted that sadly, she is not yet medically cleared to return.
At the moment, we do not know if Asuka is telling the truth or if, on the contrary, she is playing despite due to a surprise return. In any case, we are talking about one of the best fighters on the WWE roster, so her return to the ring will always be a source of satisfaction for fans.
