WWE News: Cesaro’s return to WWE is not ruled out

On February 24, 2022, it was reported that Cesaro had become a free agent after leaving WWE upon the expiration of his contract.

The two sides were unable to reach a new agreement, meaning the former United States champion was free to work for other companies.

However, it has now been 99 days since those reports surfaced, and Cesaro has not wrestled for another promotion since.

Although Dave Meltzer says that there is no information that fully confirms this fact, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that there is a “belief” that Cesaro will land back in WWE.

“The belief is that he is comfortable with the company, and he would be earning a good salary, so it is likely that he will return.”

The journalist specialized in professional wrestling also stated that “Cesaro knows that he will never be at the top, but this does not seem to be a big problem for him.”

The situation seems to be similar to that of Johnny Gargano, who left WWE in December 2021, but rumors also suggest that he could make a return.
