WWE John Cena: John Cena could be absent from WWE until the next edition of WrestleMania. The television commitments of the 16-time world champion came to an end at SummerSlam. An event that took place on August 21 in Las Vegas, Nevadas.

On that show, he was defeated by Roman Reigns in the main event.

Cena appeared, as scheduled, at the special SmackDown evening that took place yesterday at Madison Square Garden in New York. Where he was part of a tag team match in the Dark Match.

As reported by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, this could be John Cena’s last appearance before the WWE public until the time of WrestleMania.

The journalist adds that the former world champion himself declared that. After this fight, he would not compete again until the 38th edition of ‘the Showcase of the Immortals’.
