WWE News: John Cena hugged AEW star Miro on Suicide Squad Premiere
WWE Superstar John Cena met Miro (Rusev) at the Suicide Squad premiere and they emotionally hugged.
The WWE legend and rising movie star John Cena appeared dressed as his character from The Peacemaker at the premiere of The Suicide Squad movie in Los Angeles, California. And Miro, formerly known as Rusev in WWE and today the mighty TNT Champion in AEW, was there to see the tape.

Miro caught up with Sports Illustrated journalist Cinnabod Esnaashari. Who was the one who was able to capture the moment. When Miro meets Cena and they melt into a warm hug between the 16-time World Champion and one of his defeated rivals at Wrestlemania.

As you could see above, Miro congratulates Cena on the premiere and they hug. Cena then introduces Miro to his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh and within seconds, Miro tells Cena that he is still living in Nashville, Tennessee and that she should come visit him.

But it is that Cena and Rusev’s friendship goes back years . Miro expressed his immense gratitude to Cena in August of last year and thanked him for teaching him to fight.
