After retaining the title, Becky Lynch was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber backstage. When asked about the “nefarious tactics” she had used to beat Belair, Lynch defended herself saying that there is nothing wrong “in doing whatever it takes to remain champion.”
In addition, she assured that she and her opponent are in completely different leagues and that ‘The EST’ must return “to the end of the queue” to make way for “someone new .” This moment was taken advantage of by Liv Morgan, who entered the scene to stand up to Lynch.
