WWE News: Randy Orton admits that WWE NXT talents arrive baffled to the main roster

Randy Orton has been one of the most prominent WWE superstars this year. His duo with Matt Riddle has become one of the most relevant and solid in recent years.

The wrestler appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to promote WWE WrestleMania 38. These are some of the highlights of the interview:

Changed his fighting style to lengthen his career

“I was injured early in my career several times. I had to think that if I’m going to do this for a long time.

I had to figure out a way to make my career last. That’s what I’ve done.

I’ve reduced my physique to the point I know what I’m capable of, I know what my body is capable.

But I also know what I have to do out there to get a reaction and without breaking my back.

You can’t physically survive decades in this industry if you’re killing yourself every night.

He dedicated a few words to Triple H after the withdrawal of this

“Triple H just retired the other day. That was emotional for me, because if it wasn’t for that guy, I wouldn’t be here right now.

He saw something in me, and he wanted to, for the good of the business, he wanted to help the industry.”

And helping the business that gave him everything he loved. His way of doing it is helping guys like me. That was 20 years ago.

If you think about it, when he gave me that push in Evolution, I was only 30 years old.

So I think about when I was in my 30s. I wasn’t anywhere near that level of maturity. He was a 32-year-old man.

I remember looking up to him, and it’s kind of funny when I think of myself when I was 32.

But it’s inspiring to watch that and put it as an example of what I would like to do for the business that gave me so much”.

Some guys who came from NXT don’t know what they’re doing.

“There’s an art to what we do, and a lot of guys have lost that art. Now instead of selling a punch.

Because you need to sell a punch, now I protect myself because I don’t want to get my jaw broken.

That’s unfortunate, but the art of pro wrestling, like when Vince was talking about his number.

One priority above all else is protecting your opponent, which isn’t necessarily taught in NXT.

I know that because I’ve been in the ring with the guys that came from NXT and they don’t know what they’re doing.
