WWE News: Randy Orton is set to break massive record on WWE Raw, Check out.

Randy Orton is nothing short of a WWE veteran. With almost twenty years of career behind him (debut in April 2002) the “viper” has won everything in the federation and will certainly be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the end of his career.

Orton recently formed an unlikely tag team with Matt Riddle. In recent episodes of Raw the two have taken part in several matches, practically every week, this (along with his long history with the federation) is indirectly helping the 14-time champion to reach and break a record in WWE.

A record to beat

Randy Orton is, in fact, about to reach the record for the highest number of matches played on Monday Night Raw.  Last Monday’s match, in which he fought alongside the New Day and his new tag mate Matt Riddle.

It was his 216th win out of a total of 417 matches. The only two wrestlers who, for now, have played more matches on Raw than him are Chris Jericho (420 matches) and Kane (436 matches).

If Orton were to continue to fight regularly, as he has done so far, he should be able to overtake Jericho (now away from Raw since 2017) by the end of June, while it would be enough to wait until the end of September to overcome the current record holder: Kane ( who no longer competes regularly for WWE). Barring injuries or roster changes, there is nothing stopping Orton from setting this record in 2021.
