WWE News: Rey Mysterio as a father, I don’t want to face my son Dominik in ring
WWE News: Since his WWE debut Dominik Mysterio, son of the legendary Rey, has gained more and more space in the programs of Vince McMahon’s federation.
After the long feud that saw the Mysterio family opposed to Seth Rollins , with the involvement of Murphy , father and son have become a tag team and for some weeks they have been the couple champions of SmackDown.
The two, in fact, at WrestleMania Backlash managed to conquer the SmackDown Tag Team Titlesmaking history as the first team made up of father and son to win the couple’s titles.

For some time, however, fans have been fantasizing about a possible match between Rey and Dominik with an attached feud between father and son. Rey, however, seems to want to shut down fan fantasies.
“We don’t feel the need”
During an interview with Alistair McGeorge of “Metro”, the legendary Rey Mysterio spoke of the possibility of seeing him in the ring against his son excluding that this could happen. His words:“We talked about it when Dominik started training.
Over time, however, the idea has increasingly waned. The more time we spent together in the ring and outside the ring the more we became convinced that it is not necessary. We have a great alchemy. We are not just father and son, but we are great friends.

At the moment neither I nor Dominik are asking ourselves’ What would it be like and we faced each other in the ring? We are experiencing a great time, both at a private and professional level. For me it is a blessing to be able to live these moments with my son before the retreat. The idea of facing us in the ring has been lost for some time “
Mr. 619 therefore seems to exclude the possibility of a match that sees him face his son Dominik. As we know, however, in wrestling nothing can be taken for granted and certain. Maybe the two will change their minds and one day we will see them face off in the ring.
