“I was talking to Edge the other day in the locker room. He was like, ‘Rey, we’re the only two guys left that have been a part of five decades of wrestling , you know?’ I started in ’89. So I was a part of the ’80s, ’90s, ’00s, ’10s and ’20s. It’s really amazing. I’m eternally grateful to be able to be in this for this amount of time.”

“Like I’m telling you, my first match was in ’89 . I was 14 years old. Imagine. I count it as a professional match because they paid me. Not money.

But they gave me a sandwich and a Coke. It was in front of maybe 80 fans in the parking lot outside a church in Tijuana.
