WWE News: Roman Reigns completes 400 days as the WWE Universal Champion

WWE News: Roman Reigns continues to be the top star in WWE as he was the number 1 pick in this year’s Draft and is still the Universal Champion.

After making his return from hiatus at last year’s SummerSlam as a heel. He beat Bray Wyatt at the Payback pay-per-view event to become the WWE Universal Champion.

The Head of The Table with another Milestone

Since that time, he has retained the title over the likes of Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Edge, John Cena, and more. He just beat Finn Balor, who was portraying his Demon character, at last month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.

On Monday, Reigns reached a milestone as he has been Universal Champion for 400 days. He is the second longest-reigning champion as Brock Lesnar holds that honor with 504 days as champion. That reign saw Lesnar hold the title from April 2, 2017-August 19, 2018.

Reigns will make his next title defense against Lesnar at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from the King Fahd International Stadium.
