WWE News: ‘The Queen of The Ring’ tournament final to take place in Saudi Arabia

WWE News: During the last months, all kinds of rumors have arisen about the alleged ‘Queen of The Ring’ tournament that WWE wants to hold at the end of the year.

In the last hours it has been reported that the company would have registered a name. It would be the definitive one to refer to the tournament: “Queen’s Crown Tournament”.

The United States Patent & Trademark Office, the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office) has published WWE’s petition on the name.  As usual, the term has been registered for all kinds of actions, related to television or the sale of merchandising.

‘Queen of The Ring’ 

At the end of July, we reported that WWE would intend to hold the final of the women’s tournament in Saudi Araba.  Andrew Zarian, a journalist for the Mad Men Pro-Wrestling podcast. He reported through his Twitter account that a WWE source hinted at that intention.

“I have heard that the current plan is to hold the Queen of The Ring final in Saudi Arabia in October,” Zarian wrote.

It is speculated that Crown Jewel, the Saudi Arabian show that is being talked about so much. It will take place on Thursday, October 21 in Riyadh.

WWE posted a promotional video for the show during the SummerSlam broadcast, but did not specify the date. A rematch between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley is also rumored for that show.
