WWE News: Top 5 Fails Money In the Bank Cash-In of all time.

WWE Money In The Bank contract gives its holder an advantage of cashing it in at any time onto a WWE Champion. Yet, there are some superstars who’ve failed to capitalize their advantage. Here are 5 superstars who failed at their Money in the Bank cash in attempt:

John Cena

The 16 time WWE Champion John Cena failed to win the WWE Championship from CM Punk in 2012. Cena being a Man of honor, didn’t cashed in his contract while Punk was vulnerable. Instead, he cashed in his Money In the Bank contract to make the match a normal one. Unfortunately, Punk won the match and retained the title.

Damien Sandow

Damien Sandow won the Smackdown Money In The Bank contract in 2013. John Cena was the World Heavyweight Champion back in 2013 with an injured arm. Taking advantage of Cena’s vulnerability, Sandow cashed in his contract. Unfortunately Sandow didn’t won the match and Cena retained.

Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin was the Money In The Bank contract holder in 2017. The contract was applicable only on the WWE Championship whose holder was Jinder Mahal. Corbin interfered into the match between John Cena and Jinder Mahal for the title.

The match stopped due to disqualification with Jinder Mahal retaining the title. Taking advantage of Jinder being down, Corbin cashed in his money in the Bank contract onto Jinder Mahal. Raged Cena distracted Corbin leading Jinder Mahal to take advantage of the situation. Mahal then won the match and retained his title.

Braun Strowman

As unexpected as it sounds, Strowman makes the list of the superstars with failed cash in attempts. To make the blow little lighter, Strowman cashed in his contract onto Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. The match however ended with the interference of Brock Lesnar and Reigns retained his title.

The Miz

The Miz got his hands at the Money In The Bank contract in 2020. He had the contract for 2 months before cashing it in for the match between Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles. The Miz was making his way to win the WWE Championship from Drew before receiving the Claymore. Drew then retained his WWE Championship.
