WWE NEWS: Vince McMahon explains why he doesn’t like the term “pro wrestler”
Vince McMahon is undoubtedly one of the most controversial figures in the history of professional wrestling.
The WWE Chairman tends to stay in a behind-the-scenes role for most of it, but he does take a direct role in the company’s programming when needed.
He seems like he has explained the reasoning for calling out the Superstar talents of him.

Vince McMahon has his own quirks that a lot of people can’t fathom and find very strange. Despite this, McMahon keeps to the beat of his own drums and that’s what matters to him.
In his intervention on The Pat McAfee Show, the WWE president explained why he refers to the company’s talents as Superstars instead of Pro Wrestlers.

He comes down to it sounds better and it’s also better from a mental health standpoint.
“If you have a character, it’s not unlike acting. Our performers, there’s a reason I call them superstars, they’re not just wrestlers, it’s because anyone can wrestle, bad or good.
Do you want to be a pro wrestler or do you want to be a professional wrestler? a WWE superstar? Superstar sounds much better to me than being a Pro Wrestler.

With the quality of human beings that we have and the enormous amount of talent that we have, you have to have talent that knows how to act and generate reactions in the public.
Vince McMahon studies returning to the ring
During the broadcast of the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown it was confirmed that Vince McMahon will be the special guest of commentator Pat McAfee’s podcast next Thursday, March 3. McAfee himself was in charge of promoting the news.
In the hours after the show, more information about it has been leaked. POST Wrestling journalist John Pollock has mentioned on his website.

That Vince McMahon has considered his return to the ring and that it is very likely that the start of his WrestleMania storyline will start on the McAfee podcast.
The goal is to present a fight between Vince McMahon and Pat McAfee at WrestleMania or some kind of storyline in which both are involved.
