WWE News: WWE could announce more layoffs in the coming days

WWE starred in a new wave of layoffs last night. This time there were 11 NXT talents who left the company, some of them intended to get their release and others did not.

Among the most prominent names were Harland, Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai or Persia Pirotta, talents who had had a lot of prominence on television in recent months.

This might not be over, and several media outlets point out that WWE could announce more layoffs in the coming days.

Dave Meltzer, a journalist from Wrestling Observer, assured him in his last radio program.

Where he recalled that WWE will soon hold a new call to investors to announce the financial results of the first quarter of the year 2022.

“There were 10 layoffs from NXT and there are people in the company who think it’s not over.

I’ve heard rumors about more…” Dave Meltzer stated. “There are definitely people on the main roster that could be fired easily.

I guess the idea is to do it before the investor call. That seems to be the idea.”

WWE announced, through its official corporation website, that the call to investors to announce.

The financial results for the first quarter of the year 2022 will be held next Thursday, May 5.

That means the company could announce more departures in the coming days. It is speculated that the departures would be related to the main WWE roster.
