WWE News: WWE had no plans for Ruby Riott & Riott Squad following their WWE departure

WWE News: The Riott Squad was a group of wrestlers formed in WWE. Today the only member of this faction is Liv Morgan. Her co-workers Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott (Ruby Soho in AEW) were released from their contracts with the McMahon company in the 2020 and 2021 layoff waves, respectively.

Ruby Riott recently signed a contract at All Elite Wrestling. But Sarah Logan has not stepped into the ring since she was her mother. During an episode of Talk is Jericho, Ruby discussed what the initial plans were for The Riott Squad and how the faction was originally thought about splitting up shortly after it debuted.

“As far as I know, we weren’t going to be together for long,” Soho revealed.  “We were supposed to debut together and then like to split up. But then it turned out that they like us as a faction. We also liked being together, and this I think was one of the things that we lasted so long for.

We never changed our feelings. individual characters and we tried to make all three fit in some way, we never tried to be the same. We always said that if we were separated, our characters would remain the same, because they functioned with or without faction. “

Notably, Ruby Soho made her debut at the last AEW All Out PPV event.  The fighter appeared by surprise at the women’s Casino Battle Royal as the latest addition to the fight.
