WWE News: WWE to hold SmackDown episode in Madison Square Garden in September

WWE News: WWE will return to Madison Square Garden in New York sooner than expected.

SmackDown will arrive at the mythical venue of the Big Apple on September 10, reported the journalist Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com and Andrew Zarian of the podcast Matt Men, linked to the Wrestling Observer, has confirmed.

The journalist himself has published a tweet confirming the company’s return to Madison. “The MSG will host a SmackDown on September 10 that will be great,” has confirmed Zarian.

This will be the return of the company to the mythical stadium since 2019, before the pandemic.

In 2020, WWE had two confirmed events, which were postponed to July and which, finally, were canceled. Due to the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic.
