The wrestler took the NXT secondary medal at Stand & Deliver and during his celebration.
The subsequent NXT show he received the challenge from Solo Sikoa.
Grimes accepted the challenge of the fighter of Samoan origin and tonight the fight will take place.
Sikoa participated in the Stand & Deliver match in what was his first shot at a title in NXT.
Madny Rose faces Dakota Kai
Dakota Kai will have the opportunity to finish off the head of Toxic Attraction tonight.
Mandy Rose was key in the last NXT program.

Grayson Waller and Sanga, Legacy of the Ghost, The Creed Brothers, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen and Pretty Deadly.
The match will feature the in-ring debut of Pretty Deadly, former NXT UK Champions, who appeared on the latest NXT show.
The former NXT UK fighters debuted by attacking The Creed Brothers so they are expected to continue their story tonight.
