WWE NXT Result & Highlight: Ember Moon beats Dakota, Ted DiBiase with Damian Priest, Karrion Kross And More – 08th June 2021. 

WWE NXT Result: The show kicks off with a video recap of the previous week’s events, all of which lead to Sunday’s matches at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

The show switched to Capitol Wrestling Center with commentators Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix.

Earlier Today Video: Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne had a fight in the lobby of the WWE Performance Center. Oney Lorcan and Austin Theory, also involved in the brawl. Security intervened.

1st match
Oney Lorcan defeated Austin Theory after a modified rock bottom – at the end of the match Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano (both came to the ring during the argument) had a brawl, several referees intervened while Lorcan used the distraction to win

Video: LA Knight is in his mansion and mentions how he impressed Ted DiBiase and how embarrassed Cameron Grimes is. Two ladies hanging out in a hot tub with Knight laughing at his jokes, which were far from funny. Knight speaks briefly about TedDiBiase before driving off in his sports car.

Michael Hayes presents the matches for NXT TakeOver: In Your House as Dok Hendrix. El Legado del Fantasma are in the ring and Santos Escobar is furious about NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed. Then Reed comes out and jokes that he crushed Escobar after a splash in the past week. Reed has the corresponding scene shown several times on the video screen.

Reed follows Escobar’s instructions and steps into the ring. MSK: Wes Lee & Nash Carter also burst into the ring to support Reed.

Escobar challenges Reed and MSK to a six-man tag team match that puts all champions’ titles at stake. Both the North American Championship and Tag Team titles will be at stake in NXT TakeOver: In Your House in a Winner Takes All Six-Man Tag Match. Reed and MSK quickly agree to the match and Reed lets the splash scene play in again.

Hit Row: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, B-Fab, Ashanti Adonis and Top Dollar show up for the next match and run past Legado del Fantasma, both groups stare at each other briefly. Another short staredown follows between Hit Row and Bronson Reed & MSK.

The commentators confirm a global press conference for NXT TakeOver: In Your House, which will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. time and will broadcast on all digital WWE platforms.

2nd match
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (w / Hit Row) defeated Killian Dain (w / Drake Maverick) after a running single leg dropkick – before Dain was distracted from Hit Row – during the match Maverick was hit by a Death Valley driver on the apron Turned out Dolla and then distracted Dain from Top Dolla – Dain was already distracted by Hit Row during the match

Backstage: We see the arrival of Poppy.

Backstage: Candice LeRae (w / Indi Hartwell) is anything but enthusiastic about the alliance between the singer and Io Shirai. While LeRae was furious about the singer, Hartwell is certain that Dexter Lumis is still in love with her. Hartwell leaves to find Lumis.

Video: Cameron Grimes explains why he should carry on the legacy of the Million Dollar Man. He is also in a big house and makes arguments. He burns some money and has breathing problems when he tries to smoke a cigar. Grimes promises to carry on the legacy from the Million Dollar Man to the Moon.

Before the next match: Mercedes Martínez, attacked from behind by Xia Li as he moves in. Martinez defends himself until several referees intervene.

3. Match
Mercedes Martinez defeated a local wrestler after the Air Raid Crash

After the match: Xia looks into the camera and tells Xia Li that she has messed with the wrong person.

Backstage: Breezango are with McKenzie for an interview. Fandango asks why WALTER is so angry. Breeze talk about Imperium and Breeze believes that the group was embarrassed when they lost the NXT Tag Team title to Breezango. Fandango claims that they have the chance to embarrass Barthel and Aichner right in front of WALTER.

Backstage: Triple H and William Regal are with Poppy and rave about the US singer. Triple H wants to know when Poppy’s new album will be out? Poppy says “right now”. Hunter is very impressed, because Poppy publishes her new album on all platforms with the touch of a finger on her smartphone. Dexter Lumis arrives and brings Poppy a picture he drew of her. Poppy hugs Lumis with joy. Indi Hartwell sees the embrace of both and is beside herself. Indi runs away crying.

Outside we see the simultaneous arrival of Cameron Grimes and LA Knight. Both pull on … “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is already in the ring for the priceless announcement.

When both superstars hit the ring, Ted DiBiase mentions that an ultimate test is coming up this Sunday. It is time for both of them to climb the ladder of success. DiBiase laughs characteristically as a gold-colored ladder is lowered from the ceiling into the ring. DiBiase suggests that the two will face each other in a ladder match on NXT TakeOver: In Your House on Sunday.

Knight loudly pokes at Grimes, but Grimes countered verbally until Grimes got rid of his sports jacket and watch, climbed the ladder and guarantees that he will “STRAIGHT TO THE MOON”

Grimes then asks what he’s going to be reaching for. Ted DiBiase has a suitcase brought into the ring by security and reveals its contents. We see the Million Dollar Belt. LA Knight and Cameron Grimes will thus contest a ladder match for the title. The winner becomes the new Million Dollar Champion.

Backstage: Karrion Kross and Kyle O’Reilly want to exchange blows, but several officials are already on site. William Regal also intervenes and shouts: “No More!”

4. Match
Tag Team Match
Grizzled Young Veterans: James Drake & Zack Gibson defeated August Gray & Ikemen Jiro after the Ticket to Mayhem against Gray – during the match Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher came out with steel chairs to watch the match right on the ring

The match is followed by a heated argument between the Grizzled Young Veterans and Ciampa & Thatcher. Both teams agree on a Texas Tornado Match, which will take place next week at WWE NXT.

Video recap: We see one more time Oney Lorcan’s attack on Bobby Fish two weeks ago.

Twitter video: Bobby Fish prepares to return. He wants to grab Oney Lorcan after his return in order to get revenge.

Candice LeRae goes into the ring and once again speaks negatively about Poppy’s presence today. Candice also talks about the relationship between Hartwell and Lumis, she describes both as “In-Dex”. LeRae also blames Poppy for Hartwell leaving the building tonight.

Poppy goes out to one of her songs and mentions that she is not going to wrestle, but she knows someone who is ready for it. Io Shirai comes out and Poppy accompanies the Japanese wrestler to the ring.

Shirai storms into the ring and attacks LeRae. A Tiger Feint Kick is followed by a Missile Dropkick – which brings LeRae out of the ring. Shirai and Poppy stay in the ring and let themselves be celebrated.

Michael Hayes speaks up again as Dok Hendrix and confirms all matches for NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

During the commercial break: Poppy and Io Shirai meet Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. The four ladies look at each other briefly.

5. Match
Ember Moon defeated Dakota Kai (w / Raquel Gonzalez) by DQ after Gonzalez intervened in the match and promoted Moon from the top rope – Gonzalez tried to attack Moon during the match

After the match: Moon returns to the ring and attacks Gonzalez. Kai wants to make the save for Gonzalez, but has no success. Gonazlez clothesline Moon. Then the choke slam is supposed to follow, but Moon counters with a cutter. Finally, Moons finisher follows against Gonzalez. Moon places the NXT Womens Champion title on the finished Raquel Gonzalez.

Video: NXT Champion Karrion Kross & Scarlett get in the mood for the Fatal Five Face-Off segment, which is about to take place.

William Regal is in the ring with Karrion Kross and Scarlett and tries to correct the NXT champ, but Kross makes it clear that NXT has been out of control for a long time and that he will not leave until his four challengers show up as he puts his opponents in the Want to kick my butt.

Kyle O’Reilly comes out and predicts he will take the title from Karrion Kross.

Johnny Gagrano shows up and is quite sarcastic. Gargano gets on the commentary desk and makes fun of O’Reilly’s blue denim jacket before cracking down on Kross. The NXT champ asks Gargano to step into the ring so he can show him …

Pete Dunne interrupts and is fed up with all the talk. He doesn’t want to wait any longer and is already hyping himself as an NXT champion.

Adam Cole spoke up on the big video screen and referred to the rest of the challengers as “chumps” before reminding him that he had given Kross a lot in the past week and made a clear statement to Kross and the other challengers.

O’Reilly gets in the ring and titled Cole as “B ** ch!” Before approaching Kross. When Kross asks who O’Reilly is, Kyle replies with a slap in the face. A violent brawl of the superstars present then breaks out.

Karrion Kross can initially prevail by executing several suplexes, including against the security. When more men from Security Kross want to hold back, Gargano sees his chance and gives the NXT Champ a super kick. Dunne also attacks Kross. The brawl continues and when O’Reilly stands upright, Kross pushes him to the ground with a forearm.

Karrion Kross grabs his NXT Champion title and demonstratively holds it up until he receives a super kick from Adam Cole. This is followed by the last shot of Cole against the champ.

The final WWE NXT before TakeOver: In Your House ends with Adam Cole holding up the NXT Champion title.
