WWE NXT Result, Highlight, Recap, Winners, Analysis, Grade And More – 03rd August 2021

WWE NXT Result: We started a new broadcast of WWE NXT on Syfy! Our first stop will be a team match between two enemy groups.

Team Combat
Hit Row (Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis) vs. Legacy of the Ghost (Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde)

It didn’t take long for the four men to exchange attacks in the ring. Both teams regroup and we see Adonis beating Wilde. Dolla takes over and attacks Joaquin with one arm.

The Latino seeks to escape, but receives an assisted Dropkick from his opponents. Santos Escobar distracts his opponent and allows his team to level in his favor before the commercial break.

“Thee” struggles with Mendoza and they both return to their corners. Dolla crushes Joaquin in the corner and sends him to the mat with a Sidelock Slam. Santos attacks Top Dolla with a chair!

Winners: Hit Row by Disqualification

The two teams begin a physical exchange surpassed by Legado del Fantasma. The greatest punishment goes to Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, who also beaten by his rivals while Santos removes his gold teeth. Hit Row defend themselves and manage to get their opponents out of the way.

William Regal advises Samoa Joe that he must be surrounded by a security team at all times to avoid inconvenience between him and Karrion Kross. Joe simply agrees and remains backstage with various guards.

Ridge Holland (with Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan) vs. Ikemen jiro

Jiro is overcome in the first instance, but manages to escape from a lock to his neck and deliver several blows to the chest.

Holland throws his opponent out of the ring and into the barricade. He drags him into the ring to follow the punishment. He finishes with his Running Powerslam for victory.

Winner: Ridge Holland on account of three

Pete Dunne issues a warning to Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, clarifying that he along with Lorcan and Holland will be an unstoppable force for NXT.

Franky Monet and Robert Stone Enterprises speak behind the scenes about their loss last week. Monet warns that from now on his companions will have to act under his rules, which Stone accepts invaded by fear.

Roderick Strong (with Diamond Mine) vs. Bobby fish

The two begin with a struggle in the center of the ring. Fish finds space to attack and applies a lock to his neck. Strong tries to dodge attacks, but is outmatched before the commercial break.

The wrestler rushes on his rival and hits and kicks him repeatedly. Roderick applies a padlock to the back and Bobby escapes to counterattack. Strong reverses a neck lock into a Side Suplex and resists several hits before launching his opponent into ringside. Fish looks for a Roll-Up, but receives his opponent’s knees on his back. 1 … 2 … 3 …
Winner: Roderick Strong on the count of three

Behind the scenes, L.A. Knight forces Cameron Grimes to fight his butler outfit for the next fight.

Team Combat
Cameron Grimes and L.A. Knight vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake)

Grimes keeps the situation under control against Drake, but GYV outmaneuvers Knight with ease. The latter relieves the butler of him, who is also trapped in a key for several minutes. THE. leaves Cameron in the middle of the relay! Grimes goes on his own against his two rivals and surprisingly dominates until throwing them out of the ring with a Hurracarrana. He seeks to finish Drake, but Gibson distracts him and the team manages to apply their Ticket to Mayhem for the victory.
Winners: Grizzled Young Veterans by count of three

Ted DiBiase gets closer to Cameron Grimes after their fight! The WWE legend congratulates Grimes on being a man of his word and helps him get off the scene.

We review Samoa Joe’s career in NXT towards his fight against Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver 36.

Dakota Kai recalls her betrayal of Raquel Gonzales. She clarifies that it was she who removed Raquel from the shadows and made her a champion. She accuses Gonzales of stealing the opportunity from her holding her several months ago, and warns him that she will not live in someone’s shadow again.

Commentators announce that Adam Cole is ineligible to compete after receiving a brutal attack from Kyle O’Reilly last week. The two fighters will have a new head-to-head mediated by William Regal next week.

NXT Breakout Tournament (Round 1)
Joe Gacy vs. Trey Baxter

Trey starts off on the offense before taking the brute force of his rival from him. Joe dominates using the ropes as an impulse, but his rival manages to defend herself before receiving a Suplex in the center of the ring. Baxter resists Gacy’s attacks and throws him out of the corner for a 450 Stomp. 1 … 2 … 3 …
Winner: Trey Baxter on the count of three

Trey Baxter will face Odyssey Jones in the semi-final of the Breakout Tournament.

Karrion Kross steps up to the commentary table with microphone in hand and issues a warning to Samoa Joe. The latter gets rid of the security team and goes in search of his rival, but he flees outside the Capitol Wrestling Center.

We see a preview of what will be WALTER vs. Ilja Dragunov at NXT TakeOver 36.

NXT will return to USA Network next week. The appearance of Raquel Gonzales is announced to respond to Dakota Kai. Ember Moon against Sarray and Ilja Dragunov’s appearance on the American brand are also announced.

Love Her or Leave Her match
Johnny Gargano vs. Dexter lumis

Gargano searches for several locks before receiving a Dropkick from Lumis. The latter takes the rival away from him with his gaze before receiving a Suplex towards the ringside floor. Indi Hartwell comes on stage! Gargano is distracted and receives the opponent’s counterattack from him. Dexter beats him with chest punches before heading out to Ringside and hiding under the ring with Indi.

We return from the break with Gargano controlling the fight. Lumis reverses a key with her Spinebuster and launches on his rival with a Legdrop. Johnny argues with Beth Phoenix at ringside and she receives an Uppercut followed by the Falcon Arrow.

Gargano applies a Superkick that stops a jump from his rival. The two trade punches in the center of the ring and Lumis knocks Gargano down. He misses an elbow and is trapped in the Garga-No Escape. Dexter reaches the rope where Indi was! Lumis accidentally knocks out Hartwell and tries to help her, but Johnny lunges at him and finishes him off with his One Final Beat. 1 … 2 … 3 …
Winner: Johnny Gargano on account of three

Hartwell begins to walk away with The Way as he watches the crush on him in the ring. INDI RUNS TO DEXTER AND KISSES HIM! The two continue kissing while Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae look on in confusion in the ring.
