Sarray defeated Mandy Rose (w / Gigi Dolan & Jacy Jayne) via countout – Rose was counted out after a running dropkick from Sarray, Dolan & Jayne then covered Rose’s face and took her out of the hall
Earlier Today Video: Tommaso Ciampa addressed a few words to Ridge Holland. Ciampa is upset because Holland and his buddies attacked Timothy Thatcher. Ciampa will fight for NXT and its family. Therefore he dedicates today’s match to “Touthless Timmy”. A motivated ciampa is a scary ciampa.
This is followed by the teaser video for the upcoming NXT rebranding with a song by US rapper Wale.
2. Match
Kyle O’Reilly defeated Duke Hudson via heel hook abandonment
The new WWE United Kingdom Champion Ilya Dragunov makes his way to the ring …
The commentators are promoting the In-Dex wedding on September 14th at WWE NXT.
In-ring: Ilya Dragunov comes out and is cheered by the audience. A “YOU DESERVE IT” chant follows. Dragunov begins his speech and shares that he is still alive after his last fight. Not only is he alive, Dragunov is more alive than ever! He feels like a man who survived the worst battle of his life.
Dragunov is enjoying himself here at NXT and we will see him again soon. Dragunov asks who is willing to take the NXT UK title away from him. “The ring general has fallen. Long live the tsar!”
Video: Arash Markazi interviewed Kay Lee Ray. Kay pulls over the NXT Women’s Roster. In addition, William Regal got her to dominate NXT in the US, as she did in the UK.

Backstage: McKenzie Mitchell interviews breakout tournament winner Carmelo Hayes when they are interrupted by Elektra Lopez. Legado del Fantasma are added. This seems to indicate a match between Santos Escobar and Hayes.
Earlier Today Video: Drake Maverick & Grayson Waller are very confident and think they will defeat Empire.
3. Match
Tag Team Match
Empire: Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner defeated Grayson Waller & Drake Maverick after the Imperial Bomb against Waller
Backstage: Indi Hartwell asks Johnny Gargano to give her fiancé a chance. Gargano confronts Lumis and asks him why he can’t be normal.
Backstage: We see Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch, Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland. The latter threatens to send Ciampa to hospital.
Moments Ago Video from the backstage area: Apparently Sarray was attacked by Gigi Dolan and Jacy Jayne.
4. Match
LA Knight defeated Johnny Gargano (w / Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell) after the BFT – before Lumis caught Gargano falling out of the ring, a moment later Gargano stretched his hand towards Lumis and Knight used the moment of distraction victory
Backstage: The NXT Tag Team Champs MSK head to William Regal’s office. The Champs want to give Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch a title chance. Regal agrees and confirms the tag team match for the next week on WWE NXT.
Video: Tian Sha is promoting a match from Mei Ying for the coming week.

Raquel Gonzalez (c) defeated Jessi Kamea (w / Franky Monet & Robert Stone) after the One-Armed Powerbomb

Backstage: Ember Moon is back at NXT and McKenzie Mitchell congratulates her on her birthday today. Moon challenges Kay Lee Ray to a match the next week.
Video: Wade Barrett does a sit-down interview with the WWE NXT Champion. Samoa Joe wants to set a precedent as the standard bearer for NXT in his third reign as champion.
Last Weekend Video: Jiro wants to defend KUSHIDA’s honor in the next match and at some point KUSHIDA will defend the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Strong.
6. Match
Roderick Strong (w / The Diamond Mine) defeated Ikemen Jiro after a backbreaker
After the match: Roderick Strong tells KUSHIDA that he will win the NXT Cruiserweight Champion title.
Backstage: NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter have a discussion with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. In terms of content, it’s about which tag team has the better cohesion. Io Shirai concludes that she doesn’t like any of the ladies, including her tag team partner Zoey Stark.
After a commercial break, Cameron Grimes is interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell until he is interrupted by the Grizzled Young Veterans. Zack Gibson and James Drake make fun of him. Grimes stays calm and drops his Million Dollar Belt directly on their feet. Then he is ready for the path “To the Moon”

MSK: Nash Carter & Wes Lee (c) vs. Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan
7. Match
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Ridge Holland (w / Pete Dunne, Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan) after the Widow’s Bell
After the match: Pete Dunne storms into the ring and attack Ciampa. When Holland, Lorcan and Burch want to support him and bring a steel chair into the ring, MSK make the save for Ciampa. Lee & Carter incapacitate Burch & Lorcan.
This followed by a duel between Ciampa / MSK and the heels from afar. That ends this week’s edition of WWE NXT.
