WWE Raw Preview: Bobby Lashley confronts Sheamus, Eva Marie vs Doudrop, Extreme Rules build up – 30th August 2021

WWE Raw Preview: Raw returns to action with many doubts and few certainties after SummerSlam. WWE will present a packed episode of Monday Night Raw this week with three grudge matches already being announced for the show in which WWE Champion will be in action in the main event against former multi-time world champion.

Also, two pairs of former best buddies The Miz-John Morrison and Eva Marie-Doudrop will feature in singles action when the show takes place at the Paycom Center (earlier known as the Chesapeake Energy Arena) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Bobby Lashley confronts Sheamus

Bobby Lashley will have a heads-up tonight with his partner last week, Sheamus. The WWE champion and the Irishman teamed up to face Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, but in the middle of the fight Lashley abandoned his partner.

Sheamus reproached him for his attitude backstage and ended up confirming a match for the two for tonight. Lashley comes to Raw after retaining the WWE belt at SummerSlam, while Shaemus on the same date lost the US belt. The fight should serve to start establishing a rival for Lashley heading into Extreme Rules.

Doudrop’s first chance

Eva Marie returned to WWE with Piper Niven, a fighter from NXT UK. The British completely changed her character and took the name Doudrop to help Eva Marie on her return.

In recent weeks the tensions between the two have increased until at SummerSlam Duodrop did not help Eva in her match against Alexa Bliss. Doudrop ended up making fun of the one who was his companion and ended up breaking up the couple.

The Miz and Morrison begin their rivalry

Last week The Miz betrayed John Morrison. Miz attacked his partner since January 2020 and broke their alliance. The two are expected to start one of Raw’s major midcard stories and will have their first act tonight.

Karrion Kross is already part of Raw

After losing the NXT belt, Karrion Kross focuses on the main roster and more specifically on Raw. Kross is not off to a good start, but tonight he will have a chance to try to fix it.
