WWE Raw Result: Big E becomes new Champion after Cash in his Money in the Bank against Bobby Lashley

WWE RAW Result: Jimmy Smith greets viewers on Raw. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are co-commentators.

SmackDown Superstar & this year’s Money in the Bank winner Big E comes out, and commentators are responding to his tweet today.

Big E wants to cash in his MITB suitcase for a title match tonight. Randy Orton and Riddle step out, and Bobby Lashley and MVP finally follow suit.

Big E announces that he wants to cash in tonight. Riddle is concerned that his Bro Orton is supposed to win the title after all. MVP forbids Riddle to shut up and makes it clear that there is no problem as Orton is not going to win the title anyway.

MVP is actually happy about Big E’s presence because he can make fun of his facial features like everyone else.  However, MVP is not happy because they were supposed to get a tag team title match, but Orton politicized to get his WWE title match tonight instead of Extreme Rules.

Orton winks at the audience and remembers that he last faced Lashley 14 years ago and now he doesn’t want to wait another two weeks. Besides, he didn’t politicize, just asked for the match and got it because he’s Randy freakin ‘Orton.

Big E is excited to see them both fighting tonight.  MVP calls Big E a clown, but of all the clowns on New Day, he thought Big E was the first to win the world title. However, he switched from SmackDown to Raw, maybe because he was afraid of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar?  Lashley makes it clear that he’s not afraid of either of them.

Orton says they should concentrate on him because all he needs to be the new champion is an RKO.  Big E would be happy about Orton’s title win, so that he can then redeem his MITB suitcase for a title match against “The Viper”.

Lashley threatens to beat up Orton and then shoved the suitcase up Big E’s ass.  Lashley and Big E argue until Orton knocks Lashley out of action with an RKO.  The audience cheers.

Video review: Charlotte Flair (c) defeated Nia Jax last week after being distracted by Shayna Baszler.

Backstage: Charlotte Flair tells Sarah Schreiber in an interview that she did not make it to the top with friends or partners and that Shayna Baszler will never make it if she holds on to Nia.  “The Queen” calls itself the best.  The ring is her throne and her rule will last forever.  “Long live the Queen!”

Earlier Today Video: Nia Jax confronts Shayna Baszler about last week.  Baszler says she only gave Nia back what she did to her. Nia is confused and wants them to be on the same page again. Baszler leaves without a word.

Charlotte Flair (c) defeated Shayna Baszler via Big Boot – before Baszler was distracted by Nia Jax, who jumped onto the apron – during the match Nia Jax came out and Baszler took advantage of the distraction and pushed “The Queen” against the steel stairs

After the match: Alexa Bliss walks into the ring and has a present for Charlotte as a thank you for accepting her title challenge. But Charlotte doesn’t claim to be a gift collector because she collects championships. According to Bliss, Charlotte shouldn’t take herself so seriously and accept her gift. The audience asks Charlotte to accept Alexa’s gift, but “The Queen” refuses.

Bliss says “yes” and Charlotte said “no”.  This also repeated a few times, resulting in a “YES” chant. Finally, Charlotte accepts the gift and makes sure that the box isn’t ticking. The audience shouts: “OPEN IT!”

Charlotte unwraps a Lilly doll disguised as “The Queen”. Bliss referred to the doll as Charly and the audience chanted the doll’s name.

Bliss thinks that even a person as narcissistic as Charlotte deserves a boyfriend. Charlotte rejects the doll and throws it to Alexa. Thereupon Charlotte then attacked by Alexa. Charlotte gets the code red. After that, Alexa raises the Raw Womens Champion title.

Backstage: The New Day are together behind the scenes and Woods is looking forward to Big E’s planned cash-in tonight. Big E reminds that this will be in Kingston’s hometown and then seeks advice from Kingston as he has won the title before. Kofi doesn’t think Big E needs advice as he has everything he needs to win the title.

A video of WWE 24/7 Champion Reggie has been viewed over 80 million times on TikTok.

Backstage: Reggie escapes his pursuers again. Finally, Drake shows up to Maverick and R-Truth tells him that his plan didn’t work out. According to Maverick, it wasn’t the plan, it was the wrong execution. Truth and Akira Tozawa argue over whose mistake it was.

Backstage: Damian Priest says he’s going to do something he’s always wanted to do, against someone he really admires – Jeff Hardy.

Sheamus goes to the commentators for the next match.

Damian Priest (c) defeated Jeff Hardy after the reckoning – during the match Priest and Sheamus had an argument

After the match: Sheamus attacks Priest before kicking Jeff out of the ring with a brogue kick. Sheamus then gets a brogue kick from Damian Priest.

Video: The “NXT 2.0” opening episode will feature an NXT Championship Fatal-Four Way Match between Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, LA Knight and Tommaso Ciampa.

Backstage: Nikki A.S.H. tells Rhea Ripley that they should work on their very own victory celebration. Ripley wants to focus on her match against Natalya. Natalya and Tamina show up and call both freaks. Both sides argue until a brawl breaks out. Sonya Deville and some officials end the argument. Deville sets up a match between Tamina and Nikki.

Commentators mention Gable Steveson’s WWE contract signing.

Backstage: Riddle asks a lot of nonsensical questions again and acts annoyingly. Then Orton puts on headphones. Riddle keeps talking until Big E shows up. Orton gets up, but Big E reassures “The Viper”, because he shouldn’t worry and wishes him the best of luck. Big E kisses his MITB suitcase and declares that he will be closely following today’s title match.

After the match: Natalya and Tamina attack Nikki and Rhea. Corey Graves is hyping the match between Ripley and Natalya, which takes place right after the commercial break …

Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya (w / Tamina) via the standing cloverleaf – during the match the commentators informed about Nikki, because she was not present at the ring because she was being examined by the medical staff – when Tamina jumped onto the apron to distract Ripley. Nikki stormed out and took care of Nattie, meanwhile Ripley brought Tamina from the apron while Nattie tried a rollup with her feet on the ropes, but Nikki helped Ripley

Backstage: Charlotte Flair tells Sarah Schreiber that she wants to destroy Alexa Bliss and Lilly.  Charlotte sees the Charly doll and throws it away in a garbage can.

Before the next match: Mansoor dances with The New Day.  Ali is not enthusiastic about this.

This is followed by a hype video about WWE Champion “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley.

Backstage: MVP and Bobby Lashley are with Kevin Patrick for an interview.  MVP views Big E as a nuisance rather than a distraction. MVP believes Orton will join Kingston, McIntyre and Goldberg, who failed miserably to take on Lashley. Big E interrupts them both and reminds them again that he wants to cash in his MITB suitcase tonight.

Backstage: Karrion Kross wears a dark suit and says: “I’m not telling you anything that you don’t already know.”  Kross talks about his previous victims.  He wants to hurt everyone here until there’s no one left and he gets everything he wants. He’s not here to get lost in the crowd. Everyone will fall and pray.

Bobby Lashley (w / MVP) defeated Randy Orton (w / Riddle) after a spear – before Orton fought his way out of the hurt lock and knocked Lashley down with an RKO, but MVP helped Lashley onto the apron.

Which prevented Orton from doing a cover  MVP was admonished by the referee and abused by Riddle until Orton got out of the ring and put MVP out of action with an RKO, when Orton then returned to the ring, he cashed Lashley’s finisher

After the match: Lashley attacks Riddle and knocks him into the ring post before sending Orton through the commentary desk. Part of the collapsed table hits Lashley’s shin. “The All Mighty” limps back into the ring.

Big E comes out and redeems his Money in the Bank suitcase for a title match. The audience cheers him loudly.  Lashley tries to explain to the referee that he is injured and unable to compete, but the referee ignores the champ and lets the match start.

Big E (c) defeated Bobby Lashley with the big ending after 1 minute and 15 seconds – TITLE CHANGE!

After the match: The crowd goes crazy and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods step into the ring and celebrate the new champion. Big E poses with the WWE Champion title in the corner of the ring and is celebrated by the fans. This ends this week’s Raw.
