WWE Raw Result, Highlight, Recap, Winner, Grade, Video – 09th August 2021

WWE Raw Result: The Raw commentary team, consisting of Corey Graves, Byron Saxton and Jimmy Smith greet the audience.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring.  Orton says he should say “Welcome to Monday Night Raw” at this point.  “The Viper” wants to continue, but Riddle’s music starts and he goes to the ring with his scooter.

Riddle mentions how much he missed Randy and wants to know where his bro has been all along. At first Riddle thought that Orton was hiding like an anaconda, but maybe he was just on vacation. Riddle missed Orton very much. Riddle says his stepfather went out to get milk 25 years ago and never came back. “You’re back and you know what that means? We can be a team. We can be R-K-Bro!”

Randy asks Riddle how the hell does he think he wants to work with him again?  Both had a few matches and a buzz on social media. “But let’s be honest. I work more thoroughly alone.

You made it without my help or without your stepfather,” Orton clarifies.  Riddle asks Orton if that means he no longer wants to team up with him?  Randy claims they both made a good team.

AJ Styles and Omos now go to the ring.  Styles makes fun of Riddle and Orton and finds the situation embarrassing.  Orton has some nicknames like Viper, Apex Predator, and Legendkiller.  He used and processed everyone he met.  Do you think he’ll be your friend? “Asks Styles Riddle.

“It doesn’t make sense. It’s Randy Orton.” Styles assumed Omos hurt Riddle by driving him around. “I never thought that a broken heart because of Randy Orton would hurt you the most.”

Orton forbids Styles to shut up and explains that he was home for seven weeks watching Styles open his mouth and pretend he was running this place.  “The only thing bigger than your ego is that fool over there!”

Styles makes it clear that Omos is no fool.  Styles offers himself up against Orton tonight to see who runs Raw.  Orton accepts the challenge.  Tonight he will defeat Styles and he will do it with the three most destructive letters in sports entertainment …. R-K -… Orton starts an RKO, but Styles flees.  Omos pushes Orton away during the RKO attempt.

After Orton leaves the ring, Riddle wants to show his own RKO against Omos, but Omos counters and knocks Riddle down with a chokeslam.  Orton walks away, leaving the finished Riddle behind.
