WWE Raw Result & Highlights – 26th April 2021: Orton & Riddle win, Charlotte Flair wins, Strowman added to Championship match.
WWE Raw Result: Raw kicks off with a video recap of what happened between Drew McIntyre and his rival Mace & T-Bar.
It goes into the ThunderDome and Raw commentators Adnan Virk, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves greet the audience.
Pop-up video: We see T-Bar & Mace. T-Bar will show Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and the world what it’s all about and Mace says, “No mask, no loyalty, no business!”
T-Bar & Mace go to the ring without a mask. Both now have a facepaint.
Backstage: Braun Strowman wants to know why he didn’t get a thank you. McIntyre says he never asked for help and wanted a handicap match. Strowman claims he saved McIntyre’s career. McIntyre recalls that he has won titles around the world for the past 20 years and that he is the # 1 contender to the championship title. Strowman countered verbally, stating that he was “The Monster Among Men” and was able to destroy far more men than McIntyre. Therefore he should now watch and learn.

Strowman steps into the ring and declares the originally scheduled tag team match a handicap match. He’s going to do what McIntyre couldn’t do last week.
1. Match
2-on-1 handicap match
Braun Strowman defeated Mace & T-Bar by DQ after Strowman was continuously attacked by Mace & T-Bar
After the match: Braun Strowman makes the save for Drew McIntyre. Strowman & McIntyre beat Mace & T-Bar out of the ring … This leads to the next match.
2nd Match
Tag Team Match
Mace & T-Bar defeated Drew McIntyre & Braun Strowman via Count Out after Strowman and McIntyre were tallied – previously McIntyre accidentally gave Strowman a clothesline
After the match: Strowman gave McIntyre a powerslam. Strowman then complains about McIntyre.
Backstage: McIntyre is with Adam Pearce and demands a match against Strowman, which he would like to play tonight. “I can do that,” Pearce replies.
The Miz. John Morrison, Elias and Jaxson Ryker are in the ring. It’s time for MizTV.
Miz bragged about his WWE 24 documentary and promoting the latest edition of Miz & Mrs., which will air on US television straight after Raw.
Elias strummed his guitar and introduces himself as usual. Miz mentions the Bad Bunny tour, which sold out within five minutes, which of course was only thanks to him. The Miz would like to bring something much better to the WWE Universe. They all want to put on a concert.
Elias is enthusiastic, after all, The Miz and Morrison are musical geniuses, like himself. Elias dedicated the song to Shane McMahon. An acoustic version of “Hey Hey Hop Hop” follows.

Suddenly the lights go out and when the lights are back, Damian Priest is standing on the stage. Priest, mocking The Miz’s loss to Bad Bunny at WrestleMania.
The New Day moves in. Damian Priest, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods go to the ring with a suitcase. At the ring, Xavier opens the suitcase that contains tomatoes. Priest, Kingston & Woods throw tomatoes at the heels. This leads to the next match.
3rd match
Six-Man Tag Team Match
Damian Priest, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods defeated Elias, Jaxson Ryker & The Miz (w / John Morrison) via Inside Cradle from Woods to Ryker – previously Kingston promoted Elias from the top rope
Backstage: Sonya Deville opens a door and allows Charlotte Flair to enter the building.
After another commercial break: Ring announcer Mike Rome introduced Sonya Deville, who is in the ring and calls out Charlotte Flair. When moving in, a video review of Charlotte’s attack on the referee from the previous week follows. Back in the ring: The referee from the previous week is now in the ring with Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville. Deville himself felt the $ 100,000 fine and suspension imposed by Adam Pearce were too harsh.
Charlotte Flair apologizes to the WWE and referee Eddie Orengo for being violent last week. Referee Orengo accepted the apology, adding that he did not see Rhea Ripley interfering. If that had been the case, Charlotte would of course have won the match.
Deville lifts Flair’s suspension and announces her return to the in-ring. Some boos from the virtual ThunderDome fans follow. Referee Orengo will lead the match from Charlotte Flair.
Charlotte mentions Referee Orengo’s mistake and asks for an apology. “I’m sorry,” says Orengo and Charlotte replies, “Good boy”. Deville is delighted with Charlotte’s return.
Deville and Flair go to the backstage area, where Pearce is already waiting. He is very upset and asks Deville when she intends to tell him about this. Deville apologizes. However, Pearce doesn’t accept her apology because he doesn’t believe her.
After a brief hiatus, Braun Strowman confronts Adam Pearce, reminding him that he didn’t lose the Triple Threat Match to Drew McIntyre when the No. 1 challenger for WrestleMania Backlash was determined. So he’s still in the race for a chance for the title. Strowman makes fun of Pearce by asking if he needs to discuss this with Sonya Deville beforehand. Pearce announces that he will make the WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania Backlash a triple threat if Strowman defeats McIntyre in today’s main event.
The reigning United States Champion Sheamus is in the ring. The following is a video review of Sheamus’ attack on Humberto Carrillo last week.
Back in the ring: Sheamus is ready for another challenger in the Open Challenge. But his title will not be at stake.
Humberto Carrillo goes back into the ring. Sheamus asks Carrillo if he’s loco because he’s back. Sheamus throws his hat at Carrillo and attacks him. Carrillo uses the moment when Sheamus wants to brag about his attack and attacks the United States Champ from behind.
Carrillo pulls the jacket over Sheamus’ head and gives him a good beating. He uses dropkicks to stop Sheamus from returning to the ring. Finally, Carrillo sends Sheamus over the commentary desk with a suicide dive. Carrillo retreats to the backstage area while Sheamus goes into a fit of anger.
Backstage: Kevin Patrick would like to interview Bobby Lashley and MVP and both speak to Braun Strowman, who could also become Bobby Lashley’s opponent. MVP doesn’t want to talk to Patrick, however, because he’s about to reveal something in the ring.
Backstage: Sarah Schreiber asks Raw Womens Champion Rhea Ripley about the return of Charlotte Flair. Ripley says Flair’s excuses don’t matter. That she was fined makes her happy and maybe one day their paths will cross. Ripley notes that she is busy remaining Raw Womens Champion while Charlotte plays rugby with the referee.
WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP enter the ring. Lashley talks about his win over Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania and promises another win at WrestleMania Backlash. Lashley learned that the WWE Championship match could turn into a Triple Threat Match.
MVP is stunned and just can’t understand why WWE is treating their champion this way. Anything to do with this championship should not be done without its influence. Lashley thinks it’s disrespectful. In the following, both explain the usual triple threat regulation. Lashley can lose the title without getting pinned. However, Lashley guarantees that he will still be the WrestleMania Backlash Champion after the match.
Video recap: Riddle defeated Randy Orton last week via Crucifix Pinfall.
Backstage: Kevin Patrick has a conversation with Riddle, who feels great and describes Orton as a winding snake, but he has crushed it.
Randy Orton walks into the picture, not sure which planet Riddle is from. “I’m from Earth,” says Riddle. Orton makes it clear that the two have nothing in common. Riddle sees it differently, after all, both are from Earth. Orton thought he was teaching Riddle a lesson in respect, but instead Riddle “somehow” earned his respect.
Orton recalls Riddle’s idea to form an RKBro tag team. Randy Orton asks Riddle if they should try it as a tag team. The Viper has called in a favor and therefore a tag team match is waiting for her when he is ready. Riddle comes up with a few ideas, but Orton says they can talk about it if it worked out in the ring tonight.
Backstage: Nia Jax (w / Baszler & Reginald) complains about Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. Baszler would like Nia to forget everything that has happened so far. Because the last thing they need is more stress. Baszler also means the matter with Reginald. You should rather focus on your match tonight.
When Bazsler leaves, a delivery man hands Nia Jax a bouquet of flowers. Nia thanks Reginald, but the flowers do not come from him. The bouquet comes from Angel Garza and he shows up and explains that he gave her the flowers because they are beautiful. Angel Garza kisses her hand and wishes her good luck. Reginald is anything but enthusiastic. As Nia and Reginald walk on, Nia throws the bouquet at Mandy and laughs.
Backstage: Braun Strowman warms up and MVP approaches him. “Talk!” Says Strowman. MVP knows that Strowman is trying to get into the title match at WrestleMania Backlash. Strowman wants MVP Lashley to send a message. If he beats McIntyre tonight, no one could stop him from winning the championship.
4. Match
Tag Team Match
Randy Orton and Riddle vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin after Riddle’s floating bro against Benjamin
After the match: Riddle wants to hug Orton, but he refuses. When Riddle poses in the ring, Randy Orton withdraws.
Afterwards on Raw: Alexa Bliss greets the fans in her playground.
5th Match
Six-Women Tag Team Match
Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (w / Reginald) defeated Asuka, Naomi & Lana after a legdrop from Nia against Lana – during the match Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke came out and poured the one they had brought with them Bucket full of water on Shayna Baszler, when Nia wants to rush to her help, she slipped a few times on the puddle – Mandy & Dana laughed at Nia.
Video: Alexa Bliss holds her doll Lily in her hand and invites viewers to play with her because it is so much fun. The segment continues …
Backstage: Mandy and Dana laugh about their action today until Sonya Deville shows up. Both should be ashamed of it. Deville tells Mandy that she will play a match tonight and her opponent will be Charlotte Flair.
Video: Alexa Bliss mentions how well Lily understands her. Every viewer could also get their own Lily. Alexa asks the audience to look her in the eye and concentrate. Each of us has dark and twisted thoughts. Bliss wants the audience to tell Lily this three times and then imagine something peaceful. This is followed by harmonious and calm shots of nature until the screaming Lily appears in the picture – a staged moment of shock.
Alexa laughs and mentions that it was her idea. Lily became restless because she was just playing with her. Now it is time for Lily to play with the rest of the WWE and anything that happens next won’t be Alexa’s fault.
6. Match
Charlotte Flair defeated Mandy Rose (w / Dana Brooke) after the Natural Selection – Referee Orengo and Charlotte Flair had some communication problems during the match
After the match: Orengo wants to raise Charlotte’s arm victoriously, but “The Queen “refuses. Charlotte berated Orengo. Orengo finally helps Charlotte get out of the ring.
Backstage: Drew McIntyre tells Kevin Patrick in a short conversation that he will not allow Braun Strowman to participate in the WrestleMania Backlash. Today’s main event could only end with a claymore.
The following is a reference to the Make A Wish Foundation, which WWE has supported for decades.
7th match
If Strowman wins, he will be added to the WWE Championship Match between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.
Braun Strowman defeated Drew McIntyre after a powerslam – shortly before the final commercial break, Lashley and MVP came out, both sat down as commentators, at the end of the match Lashley & MVP tried to distract Strowman, MVP grabbed McIntyre’s legs while Lashley distracted the referee, shortly afterwards McIntyre wanted to take his finisher, but Mace & T-Bar jumped onto the edge of the ring, but McIntyre defended himself, this entertaining one Strowman used distraction for his finisher.
