WWE Raw Result: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton greet viewers to the sold out edition of Raw from Chicago.

RAW WWE Champion Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring with MVP.  MVP knows the fans are getting excited because they all want to see Goldberg, but before he gets out, Lashley wants to share a few things.

Goldberg simply showed up to challenge Lashley for his WWE Championship, but Lashley did not respond to Goldberg’s challenge.  Goldberg is an icon and still capable of getting any man out of the way.  But that’s exactly the problem, because Goldberg didn’t challenge just any man, he challenged “The All Mighty”.

Goldberg is a gladiator, but Lashley is used to going to the Coliseum to destroy the gladiator.  Bobby is an unstoppable monster.  MVP tries to prevent a tragedy – the audience chants “GOLDBERG.”

If Lashley accepts Goldberg’s challenge, it won’t turn out well.  It could be the last match in Goldberg’s career.  MVP asks Bill if he wants to be remembered as a champion or a victim.

Goldberg’s music sounds and he makes his way to the ring.  Goldberg wants to clarify something to Lashley.  “If anyone is worried about losing something, it’s you because you are losing the WWE Championship. Goldberg sees Lashley as an excellent athlete and gladiator, but he shows weakness.

Lashley saw Goldberg as a victim at first, but they are  not in Lashley’s Coliseum, but in Chicago. “Either you shed your pants or you were scared to death.  It doesn’t matter if I’m 35, 45 or 105, Goldberg will always be Goldberg.  Goldberg lives through the spear and you champ, will die through the spear.  That’s why you’re next! “

Goldberg goes back to the backstage area, while MVP “The All Mighty” shows Goldberg’s son standing in the front row of the audience.  Lashley and MVP go to Goldberg’s son and MVP claims that Lashley will end his father’s career.  It will be Goldberg’s last match.  Meanwhile, Lashley goes back into the ring.

Goldberg returns and knocks MVP down with a spear.  Goldberg and his son withdraw.

Backstage: Drew McIntyre is with his sword for a conversation with Sarah Schreiber.  “Look at the size of Drew McIntyre’s sword,” says Raw commentator Graves.  In a video review, we see McIntyre attacking Shanky continuously with a chair two weeks ago.
