WWE SmackDown 15th April 2022: Two matches announced for WWE SmackDown on April 15, 2022
During the Friday Night SmackDown broadcast, WWE announced two matches for next week on the show: Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn after their first matchup tonight.
And Ricochet vs. Jinder Mahal for the Intercontinental Championship.
Zayn complained to Adam Pearce about the fight he had against Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38:
Saturday, for which he assured him that he will face anyone who crosses him to show his level.
To which McIntyre appeared through the door . Before a frightened Sami, Pearce agreed to a match for the night.

Drew beat Zayn by a count of ten, since the Canadian did not want to return to the ring to face him.
Mahal was very angry about the lack of opportunities for him, so Pearce received him backstage.
However, he ignored his requests because Ronda Rousey came and forced Mahal to withdraw.
Later, it was announced via a plaque that Mahal will face Ricochet for the intercontinental title.
Ricochet will have his third defense of the Championship, after defeating Sami Zayn in his rematch on SmackDown, and beating Angel and Humberto.
At WWE WrestleMania SmackDown, the day before the company’s great event.
