WWE SmackDown Highlights: Gunther defeats Ricochet and becomes the new Intercontinental Champion on WWE SmackDown
Gunther defeated Ricochet on the Friday Night SmackDown telecast to become the Intercontinental Champion for the first time with only five matches on the WWE main roster.
Gunther destroyed each of the rivals that stood in his way since his ascent to the company’s main roster, with four consecutive solo wins and one in pairs.
With his partner, Ludwig. With Drew Gulak the last opponent, Ricochet tried to help him win over Gunther, but he became the General’s next target.
