WWE SmackDown Preview: WWE SmackDown’s Extreme Rules go-home episode of 24 September 2021 will air from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.

The show has two matches announced in advance including the Intercontinental Championship match between Shinsuke Nakamura & Apollo Crews.

Nakamura puts the intercontinental belt at stake

Shinsuke Nakamura returns to action tonight on SmackDown with a new title match. The Japanese fighter will face Apollo Crews in a heads-up for the intercontinental belt.

Crews will have a chance to regain the intercontinental belt which he lost in mid-August. Crews was absent for a couple of weeks and last week he came back attacking Nakamura and Rick Boogs after their match.

Everything indicates that the fight will not have a clear ending. And that the rivalry will continue in the face of Extreme Rules.

Liv Morgan faces off against Zelina Vega

Liv Morgan will face Carmella at Extreme Rules and to warm up tonight she will offer a heads up with Zelina Vega. Zelina Vega appeared alongside Carmella last week to face Liv Morgan and Toni Strom. Tonight the match, which last week was a tag team match, will be a heads up.

Baron Corbin presents ‘Happy Talk’
The new character of Baron Corbin is taking steps little by little.

The wrestler will present tonight a new segment called ‘Happy Talk’ where one of the wrestlers faces, initially Kevin Owens, is expected to appear to face Corbin.

Finn Bálor and Roman Reigns to confirm the rules of their fight

Roman Reigns and Finn Bálor will face each other this Sunday in a heads-up for the WWE universal belt.

At first, the fight has the stipulation of being an Extreme Rules Match, but the official segment that confirms it is missing. The possible presence of Lesnar in the combat makes the stipulation gain relevance.
