WWE Smackdown Result & Highlight: 06th August 2021| All you need to know

WWE Smackdown Result: SmackDown kicks off by greeting commentators Pat McAfee and Michael Cole.

Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring.

The Boss greets Tampa and announces that The Boss is back and we have Boss Time on SmackDown. Sasha returned to be in the spotlight again. “I’ll never let anyone steal my spotlight again.

The first video of the evening shows Sasha Banks’ return to SmackDown last week, including the attack against Bianca Belair.

Back in the ring: Sasha mentions that she exposed Bianca Belair last week because she wanted to set an example and save our Women’s Champion. Without her, Bianca would be nothing. There would be no ESPY Awards. As there would be no chilling out with Meghan Thee Stallion.

There would be no main event at WrestleMania. Bianca cried because she met the greatest in the ring. But Bianca behaved very disrespectfully towards her. Sasha decided to return to make Bianca pay for it.

Bianca’s music stops and she makes her way to the ring. Bianca wants to know from “The Boss” whether she thinks that Bianca is nothing without her?

Sasha decided for Bianca as an opponent for WrestleMania, because they wanted to contest the main event at WrestleMania together and make history there.

While Bianca enters the ring, Sasha withdraws from it. Bianca asks where Sasha is going. Sasha says that she can do what she wants and when she wants. Bianca describes Sasha as one of the greatest.

Zelina Vega comes out and declares that this is not going to happen now. Bianca seems to have tied that ugly little braid too tightly. “Are you lost? Last week …”

Bianca warns Zelina not to enter the ring. Zelina assures that she will stay on the apron and also says: “Before Sasha showed up like a little vulture, you accepted my challenge. What do you want to do now?”

Sasha then asks Bianca what she will do? Bianca says that Zelina didn’t speak to Sasha, but to her because she is the champ. Bianca announces that she will see Sasha at SummerSlam. And as for Zelina, she has not forgotten her challenge and therefore both will play a match tonight.

Backstage: Rey wants to hear from his son Dominik why he challenged Jey to a match tonight. Dominik wants to get into Joey’s head. Rey mentions the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match against The Usos at this year’s SummerSlam and that they need to be more strategic for this reason.

Neither of them can afford to lose before SummerSlam. Rey desperately wants the titles back. Dominik promises not to let his father down. Besides, he won’t need Rey’s support tonight.

This is followed by a video review of the events of the previous week’s contract signing.

Backstage: Kayla Braxton is still standing in front of Roman Reigns’ locker room and Paul Heyman comes out. Heyman wants to know what she wants. Braxton wants to interview Reigns about what happened last week.

Heyman asks if Kayla is referring to the previous week’s signing of the deal when John Cena showed up and stole a match at SummerSlam from them. Heyman asks a question.

If he attacked a Tom Brady from behind and then signed a $ 75 million contract, would he get the $ 75 million? This contract is a joke. The demand that John Cena face Roman Reigns is unfounded. WWE gives John Cena a match he doesn’t deserve. Reigns will not comment on John Cena.

Heyman suddenly sees Big E. He is holding his MITB suitcase in his hands and laughs. Heyman goes back to Roman Reigns’ locker room.

3rd match
Tegan Nox (w / Shotzi Blackheart) defeated Tamina via rollup – before Shotzi shot her tank’s rocket into the ring to Tamina

Backstage: Adam Pearce tells Zelina Vega that her match against Bianca Belair today will be a non-title match, as they cannot schedule a title match at such short notice due to insufficient promotion.

Sonya Deville noted that Bianca was also unable to book matches on her own. Zelina concludes that she will prove later that she can take out Bianca and that she should therefore be given a title match.

In-Ring: Edge comes out and thanks the crowd in Tampa for the great reception. The rated R Edge can confirm that Rollins is not there, but that’s good because if he were there he would probably end up in jail. Edge is ready to let the past rest, but Seth can’t.

Edge can understand this because if their positions were reversed, he would likely do the same thing. Your journey together will not end well.

Suddenly, Seth Rollins is switched on live via satellite on the large video screen. Rollins claims the two are very similar.

Edge should have seen his attack from the previous week because if he were half as good as “The Architect” he would know how important it is to have a plan B. Edge says he has a plan B and it is: Edge vs. Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.

Rollins wants to think about it and advises Edge to think about it too. Because Edge knows what his attack feels like. “Your little comeback and your career will be over. What future will you have as a husband and father?”

Edge gets angry and wants Rollins to leave his family out and shut up. Edge recalls how he eliminated Rollins at Royal Rumble 2020 and Royal Rumble 2021. And all because Rollins didn’t finish the job in 2014. Now he is trying to follow in his footsteps.

In the further course of the conversation, Edge titled Rollins as a TV preacher and Colonel Sanders. Rollins claims to be far better and if he wants to face him at SummerSlam, he’s ready.

Backstage: Finn Bálor talks to Kayla Braxton about the title opportunity that was stolen from him last week. Bálor accuses Corbin for this, because Corbin interferes in matters that are none of his business. Hence, he will teach Corbin the importance of integrity the hard way. And when he’s done with Corbin, he’ll have a chicken with Cena to pick.

Finn Bálor defeated Baron Corbin after the Coup de Grace

After the match: Finn Bálor grabs a microphone and makes it clear that the then Bálor would have accepted the situation with a smile three years ago, but this Finn no longer exists. He’ll do anything to get his title match – he’s even ready to take on John Cena. Suddenly the music of Roman Reigns sounds and it goes into the final commercial break.

Back in the ring: Reigns and Bálor face each other while the audience chants “CENA”.

Reigns can understand Bálor’s annoyance. He also understands why he’s talking about John Cena. However, Reigns tried to help Bálor and gave him a chance. Now Bálor should no longer mention his name when he appears on his show. Reigns tosses the microphone on the floor and turns away. The angry Bálor pushes Reigns out of the ring.

Bálor shows Roman his typical finger gesture. Reigns looks very angry while the audience chants “CENA” again. When Reigns suggests to return to the ring, Bálor is attacked from behind by the Usos – Reigns watches briefly and then wants to slowly leave the hall.

But that’s not all, because Reigns punches Bálor several times. Then Reigns puts on the guillotine choke – Bálor gives up. Reigns (w / The Usos) stretches his title right above Bálor. The show ends with this scene.
