WWE SmackDown Result & Highlight: We started Friday Night SmackDown with Sami Zayn entering the scene in a cast and in a wheelchair. The fighter reminds us that last week he came to resist attacks from Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns on the same night.
He again cites a possible conspiracy for him not to be a universal champion and warns that he will sue those involved unless they give him another title shot.
Paul Heyman interrupts Zayn before the latter confirms Roman Reigns’s absence for tonight. The fighter threatens the advisor of “The Tribal Chief” until Brock Lesnar appears on the scene. “The Beast” takes a chair and sits across from the injured competitor.
He clarifies that he did Sami a favor and offers to leave WWE instead of getting into “big people’s business.” Paul takes the microphone away from him and clarifies that Lesnar is not the same giant that he saw rise as champion three years ago. Brock attacks Sami Zayn and paramedics at the sight of Heyman!

Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs vs. The Lotharios (Angel and Humberto)
Boogs outmaneuver Humberto until Angel attacks him behind the ropes. The guitarist relieves Nakamura, who applies a single knee to Angel for the victory.
Winners: Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs by count of three
Behind the scenes, Kofi Kingston presents a new crown to King Woods and the latter promises that they will win the main event tonight.
Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre
The two fighters are quick to hit the ground running. Sheamus throws his rival out of the ring and misses a jump before receiving a “Belly to Belly” Suplex.
McIntyre is in trouble after the break, but manages to connect his Futureshock DDT. Sheamus connects a kick to the jaw of his rival and throws him into the corner. Drew gains momentum and finishes with his Claymore Kick. 1 … 2 … 3 …
Winner: Drew McIntyre on the count of three
A short video is presented in tribute to former tag team champion Jack Lanza, who passed away on December 8.

Toni Storm vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair throws her challenger to the canvas before taking multiple hits to the chin. They exchange counts of three until Toni is thrown over the barricade. Charlotte tramples her rival several times until the referee decides to stop the fight.
Winner: Toni Storm by disqualification
Triple Threat Team
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and King Woods) vs. The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) vs. RK-Bro (Riddle and Randy Orton)
Riddle looks even against Kofi and Woods until Jey takes over from New Day.
“The Bloodline” are launched on their four opponents at ringside before the commercial break. The Usos find themselves in danger from their two rival teams until Jimmy takes over by surprise and allows his teammate to attack Riddle.
Jimmy and Jey punish the “King of BROs” and push Orton away from his corner. Kofi snatches the relief from The Usos and they continue the punishment on Riddle until the latter resists an exchange of blows and provides the relief to Orton. RK-Bro gains an advantage over The Usos and New Day.
Winning : The New Day on behalf of three
Commentators confirm that Roman Reigns will return to SmackDown next Friday.
