WWE SmackDown summary October 6, 2023

 – Charlotte Flair and Asuka defeat Damage CTRL (Bayley and IYO Sky).

– Bobby Lashley defeated Rey Mysterio.

– Dragon Lee defeated Austin Theory.

– LA Knight defeats Jimmy Uso by disqualification.

LIVE Follow-up WWE SmackDown October 6, 2023

LA Knight enters the ring to start the episode.  Paul Heyman and The Bloodline don’t let him say a single word.  “I have a reputation for knowing.

Who the next big star is going to be. And even though he seems counterproductive, LA Knight is the next mega-star,” Heyman says.  “But with all.

The respect and admiration he has earned from me, I must offer him my condolences. You have earned my attention, and The Bloodline will do something about it.”

Knight claims that Paul is just playing it safe by putting respect in his name “let me check my receipt, because I didn’t buy any of your s***.”

Jimmy Uso takes the floor, and assures that this time it is his turn to give the order to attack.  John Cena appears to align himself with Knight.

And the latter issues a challenge to Jimmy Uso for tonight. All Judgment Day make their way to the arena.  JD McDonagh meets them much to.

Damian Priest’s chagrin, but Rhea Ripley calms the latter down by clarifying that he “has something on his hands.”

Team Combat

Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs.  Damage CTRL (Bayley and IYO Sky)

Charlotte starts with an advantage against IYO and neutralizes it with a breaker.  Asuka maintains dominance until Bayley gets in her way for.

An attack aimed at Sky.  The Empress launches herself at her opponents before the commercial break. Damage CTRL they maintain dominance.

Until the champion falls with a kick.  Charlotte and Bayley take over, with the former gaining control through machetes to the chest.

She pushes Sky away and hits a Clothesline against her opponent.  Asuka and Charlotte exchange tags for a Superplex.

IYO boosts her opponents and takes them all at the same time!  Asuka takes an accidental kick from Charlotte.

And Bayley tries to take advantage of it the Role Model accidentally attacks Sky.  Natural Selection on Bayley and victory.

Winners: Charlotte Flair and Asuka by three

Judgment Day invade The Bloodline’s locker room backstage.  Rhea Ripley expels everyone, except for Paul Heyman.

Who she wants to talk to about business. Roman Reigns will headline Friday Night SmackDown’s season opener next week.

 Rey Mysterio vs.  Bobby Lashley

Mysterio corners himself against a much larger opponent.  The masked man is overcome with blows to the chest and tackles in the corner.

The All Mighty plays dirty and seeks to remove the mask of his rival.  Rey lands on his feet from a powerslam and gains ground with several body kicks.

Lashley falls on the rope and avoids a 619 in time on the way to the commercial break. Rey is caught in a Bearhug that nearly knocks him out.

The masked man escapes and climbs to the third rope, but is caught by Lashley who tramples him on the corners.  Rey gets up in time from a Spear.

And Bobby falls into the barricade.  The giant receives the opponent’s classic attack combination from him.  Lashley catches the 619 and.

Takes his opponent to ringside.  The attacks continue around the ring, where Rey resists the punishment until he crashes his opponent.

Into the post.  619 to the stomach!  Street Profits distract, but LWO counterattack.  Lashley takes advantage of the time to get up and receives Mysterio with a Spear.  1…2…3…

Winner: Bobby Lashley on account of three

Backstage, Rhea Ripley offers an alliance between Judgment Day and The Bloodline.  Paul Heyman says it’s a smart move, but he wants to ask.

Roman Reigns to authorize it.  Rhea refuses to let Roman authorize it.  “Paul…recognize me.”  Ripley questions the strength of The Bloodline, and allows Paul to make his call to Reigns.

 Dragon Lee vs.  Austin Theory

 Theory starts with body kicks.  The masked man finds an advantage, but Grayson distracts him and allows Mr. 150 Million to attack.

Dragon gets a Carwheel Dropkick before the break. Dragon ties up his opponent for a Powerbomb before being finished off with a double knee.

Austin takes it to the top rope, but is tangled up for a Stomp to the chest.  Lee does not allow escape and jumps on both toughs.  With the referee.

Distracted, Grayson attacks the masked man and hands him over to Theory.  Cameron Grimes attacks Waller at ringside!  Austin turns distracted and is caught by Dragon Lee with a Roll-Upo for the victory.

Winner: Dragon Lee on account of three

 Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar receive bad news backstage: Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde are not allowed to compete after the attack by.

Street Profits and Bobby Lashley.  The masked man assures that he will “make a call” to fill the position at Fastlane. We review the rivalry between.

Jimmy Uso vs.  L.A. Knight

The two men corner each other before LA traps his rival in a neck lock.  Jimmy gives instructions to Paul Heyman and briefly takes the lead.

His opponent attacks him with a Powerslam before receiving a Superkick that leaves him in pain at ringside. We come back from.

The last commercial break with half a Sunset Flip damaging Jimmy’s back.  LA stomps on his rival in the corner before taking blows to the face.

The Bloodline guy applies his Bionic Elbow and prepares his final move, but Solo Sikoa catches him from behind.

John Cena comes out to the ring to assist LA Knight.  The Judgment Day arrive on the scene!  Rhea Ripley and Paul Heyman shake hands and.

The numerical difference is important.  JEY USO AND CODY RHODES COME ON STAGE!  The ten men get into a physical altercation, which ends with JD McDonagh receiving finishing moves from Cena, Rhodes, Jey and Knight.
