Tonight we will again enjoy the minute by minute of Friday Night SmackDown that will be broadcast live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Episode Summary

Vince McMahon is the first to enter the scene. The WWE producer clarifies that it is an honor to be able to speak in front of the company’s public.

“You do justice to the words of our opening. Before, now, always, and above all: together.” He walks offstage to the cheers of Minnesota fans.

Riddle enters the ring. After recapping his rivalry with The Bloodline, “The Original BRO” clarifies that tonight is about revenge against Roman Reigns.

He promises that he will avenge Randy Orton and lift the unified titles before exiting the scene to “Voices.”

– Madcap Moss defeats Happy Corbin. Madcap dominates the first few minutes with kicks and knees. Corbin is in danger for several minutes until he manages to launch.

His opponent into the barricade at ringside. We return from the break with Corbin dominating the fight. Madcap avoids the count of ten outside.

The ring and crashes his opponent into the commentary table. He applies two Punchlines on his former boss in the ring and takes the victory for three.

After the match, Moss grabs a microphone and taunts his opponent on the mat. Happy Corbin gets up and begins to direct his attention.

Against the commentators. Pat McAffee responds on behalf of the Minnesota public and humiliates Corbin until he leaves the room sad.

Natalya provides statements backstage. The challenger to the Women’s Championship clarifies that she will provide a lesson in respect to Ronda Rousey in Money in the Bank.

She announces that “Rowdy” is not here tonight, and she promises to demonstrate the power of the Sharpshooter by making her surrender and take the title from her.

– The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) defeat Jinder Mahal and Shanky. Mahal dominates over his rivals and relieves Shanky.

The latter is distracted by Woods’ music and Jinder enters the ring to scold him. The former champion receives a Trouble in Paradise by surprise and it is victory for Kofi and Xavier.

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus make their entrance to the ring. Following a brief verbal dispute over what happened last week.

Adam Pearce confirms that both Superstars will be added to the ladder match at Money in the Bank. McIntyre charges a Claymore on the Brawling Brutes after the announcement.

Sami Zayn is surprised at the doors of Roman Reigns’ dressing room. The “ally” of The Bloodline tries to convince the interviewer that her relationship with the team is fine, but everything indicates otherwise.

– Raquel Rodriguez defeats Shayna Baszler in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Baszler tries to lock her rival in a key, but she finds it difficult to get up from the ground. Raquel throws her to the corner.

But she is caught between the ropes as her opponent applies pressure. Rodriguez escapes from a Clutch and launches her rival with a Powerbomb for the victory.

Having received an in-ring introduction, Max Dupri cancels his performance tonight after berating Adam Pearce backstage for not meeting his requirements.

Ludwig Kaiser speaks on behalf of the new Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, recalling the great story behind the title.

He promises that the award will never again be in the hands of an American, and anticipates a long reign for his partner.

Money in the Bank qualifying matches between Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn, and Aliyah and Shotzi are announced for next week.

The return of Viking Raiders and a rematch between GUNTHER and Ricochet for the Intercontinental Championship is also announced for the following episode.

– Roman Reigns defeats Riddle and retains the Unified WWE Universal Championship. Riddle quickly goes on the offensive.

He manages to knock his opponent out of the ring and launch himself at him from the top rope before the commercial break. Reigns counterattacks with elbows to the face.

The champion has the advantage until he receives a knee followed by a Suplex. Roman raises his knees in a Moonsault and escapes a count of three before connecting a Rock Bottom variable.

Reigns looks for the Superman Punch, but is surprised by the Final Flash followed by a Powerslam. Riddle manages to throw it over the announce table.

Before a DDT between the ropes. Roman escapes the RKO and goes for the Superman Punch, but his rival gets up. Riddle manages to connect his RKO and a jump.

From the third rope, but they are not enough. He takes a run for a Moonsault, but it is reversed with a Spear that gives “The Tribal Chief” the victory.

Before leaving, Roman Reigns clarifies that there are no more standing opponents, which only remains for the world to recognize him as the tribal chief.

BROCK LESNAR GOES ON SCENE! “The Beast” applies an F5 to Reigns and ends The Usos to close the episode.
