John Cena makes his way to the ring. Cena talks about the tough week. His surprise appearance on WWE Money in the Bank was a lot of fun and because he was so excited, he showed up on Raw one night later.

He was also available for a question and answer session to clarify a few things. But now he’s back to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Champion title at SummerSlam. He can understand the excitement of the fans because we are only a few heartbeats away from the confrontation between John Cena and Roman Reigns in this ring.

Cena couldn’t think of a better place to do it. Cena goes on to explain that he contacted the Cleveland government and had his middle name changed to Guardians because someone needs to protect the respect the WWE still has. SmackDown with Roman Reigns as champion is crap!

After that, Cena wonders where the hell is Roman. Roman knows he can’t see him and after SummerSlam he’ll recognize … “The CHAMP IS HERE!” Cena wonders if Reigns is listening to his speech and wants him to come out because it is time to make history.

Instead of Reigns, Paul Heyman takes the stage. Heyman says John Cena got it all wrong. Cena shouldn’t get upset and give him his word as he will get an answer to his challenge tonight, but only if Reigns decides to come out to show Cena and the audience that the Tribal Chief is here. Heyman beatboxes the Entrance Theme from Cena.

In-Ring Promo: As Edge makes his way to the ring, we see what happened between the Rated R Superstar and Seth “Freakin” Rollins at Money in the Bank.

Back in the ring: Edge tells the audience how much these reactions mean to them. Everyone knows his story and they know how hard he fought to get all of this back, including the fans. In his opinion, he should have become the WWE Universal Champion at Money in the Bank. It didn’t work out because there was a reason for it, and that one is Seth Rollins.

Edge thought he had everything considered because the Mysterios were taking care of The Usos, but his story with Reigns goes back even further. “You have no idea about the Pandora’s box of violence and emotional pain that you have opened!” Clarifies Edge and talks about his WWE past. Edge was then part of “Brood” and also active in the “Ministry of Darkness”.

Suddenly the music of Seth Rollins sounds and he makes his way to the ring. Seth claims that Edge is talking about the man he once was.

Edge tells Seth to shut up so as not to embarrass himself. Edge promises not to touch Seth because he wants to have a man-to-man conversation.

Seth thinks Edge is not as stupid as he looks because Edge knows what he’s capable of. Seth is here to share how much he despises this city and also despises people like Edge and Cena who want to come back whenever they want, go overboard and take chances from people who deserve those chances.

Rollins is still impressed because Edge is in his ring and because he has behaved so dirty towards him, nothing would make him happier than to destroy Edge’s dreams.

“I’d love to be the one to put an end to your comeback story! When they talk about Edge’s Hall of Fame career in the future, they won’t be talking about you, but the man who ended your career, Seth Rollins. I’ve had the chance to end your career before when I brought the Authority back. I hesitated, but if I get that opportunity again and can position my boot on your surgically repaired neck, I won’t hesitate and pull the trigger . ”

Edge calls Seth a liar and starts an attack. Both initially deliver a balanced brawl until Edge wants to execute Spear, but Rollins flees the ring.

Roman Reigns enters the ring before The Usos leave.

Roman Reigns takes the floor and asks Cleveland to recognize him, just like he asks viewers watching television. Reigns criticizes John Cena for coming out and doing the same old thing. “The same outfit, the same music, the same insults. If I wanted that, I just have to look for John Cena from 2005. It’s the same, over and over again,” Reigns scoffs. The champion says that doesn’t motivate him, it doesn’t inspire him. “You’re right John.

I Don’t see you, I don’t want to see you and I’m not interested in seeing you. I don’t think we will see you at the SummerSlam main event. Because my answer to your challenge … is no,” he says.

Finn Balor comes on stage. “If you’re not interested in John Cena’s challenge, you might be interested in mine,” shoots Balor. Roman laughs at first, but is later annoyed by the chants of “Roman is afraid” from the audience. “I accept the challenge”, closes Reigns.
