WWE SmackDown: WWE changes the name of Talking SmackDown

WWE is used to making changes to all aspects of its programming, such as name alterations, which are very frequent among talent.

However, the news that concerns us today is about the well-known program Talking Smack, which will now be known as The SmackDown LowDown.

In this regard, it should be noted that WWE applied for the trademark “The SmackDown LowDown” on June 13, 2022.

Meanwhile, the first program with the new name premiered on the WWE Network this Saturday, June 18.

Scott Stanford, who will host alongside Matt Camp, announced the name change early in the episode. The format of the program remains unchanged.

The first episode of WWE Talking Smack aired on August 2, 2016. It was originally hosted by Bryan Danielson and Renee Paquette.

The Miz, JBL, Shane McMahon, Peter Rosenburg, Booker T, Jerry Lawler and Sam Roberts have all served as co-hosts in the past.
