WWE SummerSlam 2021: John Cena could not wait anymore, want to face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam

WWE SummerSlam: During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts on the USA Network, superstar John Cena appeared before the Red Show audience for the first time in nearly two years.

For the first time since the 2019 RAW Reunion special, the leader of the “Cenation” reappeared in front of RAW cameras to open this week’s broadcasts.

John Cena dedicated a few words to the Dallas crowd before responding to Roman Reigns. The sixteen-time champion dismissed “The Head of the Table” saying he was just an overprotected competitor. Quickly, Cena first expressed his desire to face him at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship and stop his reign once and for all.

Quickly, John Cena’s signature entrance music blared from the speakers and the “Cenation” frontman stepped into the ring to Roman’s chagrin.

John Cena stepped up to face the champion and the pay-per-view ended quickly. Cena will return to SmackDown this Friday to hear “The Head of the Table” response to his challenge.
