WWE SummerSlam Results: Kayla Braxton, JBL, Booker T, Jerry Lawler, Kevin Patrick and Peter Rosenberg welcome the audience to the SummerSlam Kickoff Show. The hosts present today’s matches.

We see The Miz and John Morrison arrive in a Pure Life water truck with a SummerSlam logo printed on it.
It goes ringside to Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. Mike Rome is in the ring introducing Raine Cruz as the guest ring announcer (she won the TikTok competition).
Before the first match of the evening, there is a video review of the events between Corbin and Big E. Corbin stole Big E’s MITB suitcase. Big E wanted to get the suitcase back at SmackDown on Friday, but Corbin ran away with the suitcase again.

1. Kickoff Show Match
Big E defeated Baron Corbin after the Big Ending – during the match Corbin wanted to disappear with the MITB suitcase, but Big E pushed Corbin against the ring barrier.
After the match: Big E grabs his MITB suitcase and is overjoyed. Logan Paul is in the crowd and applauds.
The following is the video report on the WWE Universal Championship Match. At the end of the kick-off show, the hosts address the match between Roman Reigns and John Cena.

The intro is followed by the fireworks and the greeting from Jimmy Smith. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are co-commentators.

This is followed by a video review of the events between Alexa Bliss and Eva Marie / Doudrop.
2. Match
Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie (w / Doudrop) after a DDT
After the match: Eva tries to blame Doudrop for her defeat. Doudrop takes the microphone from the ring announcer and introduces Eva as the loser of the match. Eva is beside herself. Doudrop puts on Eva’s robe and dances. Eva is shocked.
Backstage: US actor Mario Lopez interviews Randy Orton and Riddle about the tag team title win. Orton claims it will run smoothly from now on. After Orton leaves the scene, Riddle claims to be Orton’s new best friend.

Damien Priest defeated Sheamus (c) after the Reckoning – Priest took Sheamus off his mask during the match –Â TITLE CHANGE!

Video recap: Jey Uso defeated Rey Mysterio on Friday at SmackDown after Dominik intervened in the match.
Backstage: Dominik apologizes to his father because he cost him the match on Friday. Rey asks Dominik to concentrate on her upcoming tag team match.

The Usos: Jey & Jimmy Uso (c) defeated Rey & Dominik Mysterio after Jey’s Top Rope Splash against Rey Mysterio
Backstage: US actress Tiffany Haddish asks Damian Priest about winning the title. The new United States Champion is proud.
Rick Boogs delivers his guitar performance and calls out Shinsuke Nakamura. The Japanese goes to the commentator’s desk and poses while Pat McAfee delivers his typical dance performance on the commentator’s desk.

Now follows the video report of the SmackDown Women’s Championship Match.
When Bianca Belair reaches the ring, ring announcer Greg Hamilton announces that Sasha Banks will not compete tonight. Instead, Bianca Belair will risk her title against Carmella. “The Most Beautiful Women in All of WWE” is out.
The audience is very upset and Belair is disappointed. She grabs a microphone and makes it clear that she will play the match against Sasha Banks another time. Belair is ready for Carmella, but
Becky Lynch music plays
“The Man” and the audience cheers. Once in the ring, the audience chants “BECKY” loudly. “The Man” attacks Carmella and knocks her out of the ring with ease. Becky confronts Bianca and the audience is thrilled. Becky grabs a microphone and says that she and Belair should shake the place. Belair is ready and accepts the challenge.

New SmackDown Women’s Champion: Becky Lynch
Greg Hamilton introduces two Olympic gold medalists, Tamyra Mensah-Stock and Gable Steveson. Both come out and let the audience celebrate in the ring.

6. Match
Shanky & Veer are not allowed to be present at the ring
Drew McIntyre defeated Jinder Mahal after the Claymore Kick
After the match: Veer and Shanky step into the ring to help Mahal out of the ring. McIntyre grabs his sword and the Heel Trio flees.

The next video summarizes the rivalry between Seth Rollins and Edge.
Before the next match: The theme of “The Brood” sounds and Edge gets a special flame entrance. Afterwards his usual theme song “Metalingus” can be heard.

Edge defeated Seth Rollins via Crossface Surrender
According to WWE, there are 52,326 fans tonight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Announcement: WWE Money in the Bank 2022 will also take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. What follows is a video review of The Miz & John Morrison’s arrival on the Kickoff Show.
John Morrison and The Miz are in the ring and the moneymaker wants Morrison to pull out the Drip Stick 2000, but Morrison thought Miz had it. Both argue until they are interrupted by Xavier Woods.
Xavier is disguised as “Wolfpac” Scott Hall and has a water container on his back that is attached to a water pistol. Woods makes a few references to Scott Hall, but the audience doesn’t respond. Then Woods sprays both heels with water and the audience remains completely silent.

WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley (w / MVP) (c) defeated Bill Goldberg via referee stoppage after Goldberg could no longer get up – previously Lashley put Goldberg’s knee out of action with a chop block.
After the match: Lashley specifically attacks Goldberg’s injured leg and bets for it even a steel chair. Goldberg’s son storms into the ring and goes after Lashley, but the WWE champ takes Gage into the hurt lock.
MVP hangs up the microphone and tries to pretend that Lashley didn’t know he was attacked by Goldberg’s son. MVP announces Lashley as the winner of the match. Goldberg looks after his son and yells: “I will kill you!”

10. Match
WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) (w / Paul Heyman) defeated John Cena after the Spear, before Reigns shouted: “I’m WWE!”
Highlights:
Reings stared at the camera and apologized to Hollywood for beating up her star.
Cena pushed Reigns through the commentator’s
desk with an attitude adjustment. Cena carried out another attitude adjustment from the second ring rope, after which the audience chanted “THIS IS AWESOME”.
Reigns’ several Superman punches followed.
After the match: WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns poses up in the ring suddenly the music of Brock Lesnar sounds. Lesnar walks into the ring in street clothes and the audience freaks out. Lesnar confronts Reigns. But the Tribal Chief leaves the ring with Paul Heyman.
Brock Lesnar giggles and poses in front of the audience. This ends this year’s SummerSlam.
