Zidane steps down as Real Madrid coach after finishing 2nd in La Liga points table. 
Zidane Real Madrid: As it has been reported by Goal.com that Zidane Real Madrid coach has decided to leave the club after finishing 2nd in the La Liga points table. For the first time since 2009 that Real Madrid failed to win any particular trophy in a season.
However, the 48-year-old French international will call it quits as Real Madrid boss at the end of the season and will not complete his contract which lasts till next season.
ImageThis would be the second time that he leaves the manager’s post in the summer after he had resigned earlier in 2018.
But after a year gone, he then called back and has took the charge since then the manager.
In his first stint, he won the La Liga and UCL title along with the Spanish Super cup and continued with the winning habit on return as well.

Zizou will hope that Real Madrid can win the La Liga title as it would be a fitting farewell to one of the greats of the game.

The world cup winner won the La Liga title last season but with 2 matches left, his side stands 2 points behind Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid currently stand 2nd in the league table as Zidane hopes to win the La Liga title for the third time in his career.
Los Blancos has endured a poor season with a semi-final finish in the Champions League. And now set to finish the season without silverware, if they cannot win the domestic title.
Zidane is one of the few coaches in the history of the competition who won the title as a player and manager.
