Top 5 goal-scorers in the UEFA Champions League 2022-23 ahead of the knockouts


UCL 2023 Top Scorers: The UEFA Champions League returns for the Round of 16 knockouts this year in what is expected to be a thriller.

16 teams are left in the fray with only 8 managing to make it to the next phase of the competition.

Erling Haaland

Haaland led Man City’s goal-scoring charts with 5 goals in 4 league matches during the group stage.

He began with a brace against Sevilla in the 4-0 drubbing of the La Liga side.

The striker added to his tally with a goal against former side Dortmund and 2 against Copenhagen.

Salah made it to 2nd in the list with 7 goals in the group stage.

He began with a strike against Ajax followed another one against Rangers. The charge continued with a hat-trick vs Rangers to make it 5 in 4 matches.

Successive goals in the final two matches against Ajax (A) and Napoli; ensured delight.

With his goals, Liverpool sealed a Round of 16 berth where they face defending champs, Real Madrid.

Kylian played an integral role in sealing PSG’s place in the Round of 16 as they finished runners-up in their group.
