5) Mahela Jayawardene- 12640 runs 
Third Sri Lankan in this list shows how supreme this team was in the 90’s. Jayawardene with his elegant and classy batting has played 448 matches in his career of 17 years. He scored 19 centuries and 77 half centuries out of a total of 12640 runs. He has an average of 33.37 with 78.96 being his strike rate. His highest score is 144.
