Ind vs Aus: As the Indian women’s cricket team gears up for a test match against England next month, BCCI also announced India tour to Australia scheduled later this year.

15 years later, India will be playing a test match against the hosts Australia. This will also be their debut Pink-ball test match. The last time when India played Australia in the longest format, Australia won by an innings and 4 runs.

After completing their tour of the UK, India will tour to Australia for a 3-match ODI series, one-off Pink ball test match and a 3-match T20I series starting from 19th September.

North Sydney Oval will host the first ODI match followed by Junction Oval, Melbourne where the remaining two ODI matches will be played. WACA, Perth will host the historic Pink-ball Test match starting from 30th September. The whole T20I series will take place at North Sydney Oval starting from October 7th.

Sep 22: Second ODI, Junction Oval

Sep 24: Third ODI, Junction Oval

Sep 30 to Oct 3: Day/Night Test match, WACA Ground (D/N)

Oct 7: First T20, North Sydney Oval

Oct 9: Second T20, North Sydney Oval

Oct 11: Third T20, North Sydney Oval.

The Indian Women’s team will tour England to play ODI, T20 and a test match almost after 7 years from June 16th. They have already started their 2-week long quarantine period in Mumbai ahead of the important England tour. Both the men’s and women’s team will travel together for England.

June 16 -19: One-off Test match at Bristol County Ground

June 27: First ODI, Bristol County Ground

June 30: Second ODI, The County Ground

July 3: Third ODI, New Road

July 9: First T20I, The County Ground

July 11: Second T20I, Central Country Ground

July 15: Third T20I, The Cloudfm County Ground

BCCI Women’s salary announced Ind Women

After a lot of silence and no action for the Indian women on field, they will finally be hustling for their next tour to England and then for Australia later in this year. Before they start their cricket season, BCCI has awarded central contracts for the period of October 2020 to September 2021. The number of contracts has reduced from 22 to 19 as compared to last year.

Grade A has Indian T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur alongside Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Yadav have been retained in this category which offers INR 50 Lakhs per annum.

Grade B includes our Indian ODI and Test skipper Mithali raj,  Jhulan Goswami, Deepti Sharma, Punam Raut, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Shafali Verma, Radha Yadav, Shikha Pandey, Jemimah Rodrigues and Taniya Bhatia. Shafali Verma with her impressive performances scored her place in Grade B. Whereas Veda Krishnamurthy, Ekta Bisht, D Hemalatha and Anuja Patil didn’t secure annual contracts this year.

Grade C includes Mansi Joshi, Arundhati Reddy, Pooja Vastrakar, Harleen Deol, Priya Punia, and Richa Ghosh.
